Here are the candidates:

Graeme Langlands
Russelll Fairfax
Brett Mullins

Jarryd Hayne
Another player (e.g. Tim Brasher, Graeme Eadie, Garry Jack, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck).

Stapo, then Mini.

Seriously though Slater is the best of what I've seen.

Minichiello should be on the list.

Lockyer gets forgotten as a fullback but wasn't he selected in the team/squad of the century at fullback

Slater or Lockyer

Slater probably edges him purely for playing in the same position his whole career, though Lockyer was the reason for the way fullbacks play in the modern era.

I can't comment on Langlands/Churchill as I wasn't alive when they played.

If Hayne played for a good team he would've dominated the comp year in year out. Slater has always played with the best players when Hayne had turkeys in comparasion.

From players I've seen

1: Hayne
2: Slater
3: Minichiello

Slater. Talent wise Hayne/Inglis
Pretty much this.

I know Inglis cops a lot of crap on here for being lazy, and he is. However I was watching a career highlights video of him and Jesus some of the shit he has done is just phenomenal. He'll be the player kids will see in 20 years and wonder why he isn't regarded as the greatest of all time.

Also Hayne has apparently gotten better at RL since leaving. I'm not sure he's as perfect as a lot of you think.
