Delicate Sound of Thunder
Echoes by Pink Floyd.
Tangerine Dream did it better decades earlier.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2geAtMuVi4
Empire of the Sun- 'Country'. This is epic enough to listen to when you're sober. When you aren't, it is incredibly vivid, hypnotic, dream-like and lucid.
The song is called Brain Damage not Dark Side of the Moon. Unless you're referring to the whole album.
Fair enough just thought it was weird to choose a whole album as the "greatest piece of music." Regardless big call there then. I'm a big fan of Pink Floyd and that is arguably their best album but there's still a few weird tracks and not weird in a good way.Whole album........

Lol Ummagumma is one of my favourite Pink Floyd albums, but yeah that track is all kinds of weird.you need to have a crack at a saucerful of secrets or interstellar overdrive.
That ups the weird ante somewhat from floyd.
not to mention several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and groovin with a pict off ummagumma.
