KATIE Milligan has been spotted socialising with mates of her boyfriend, NRL star Greg Bird, who is accused of glassing her.

As we reveal the first picture of the true extent of the horrific injuries to Ms Milligan, it has emerged that the American student has been fraternising in Cronulla with some of the disgraced football player’s closest friends.

If charges are dropped, Greg Bird must be made available to play for the Sharks immediately. No ifs, no buts.

Sounds like the girlfriend has been out with Greg's mates. It also sounds like she is angry at how the cops handled the matter and that there is a lot more to come out.

Who is the club or the NRL to make a call that goes against the rule of law? If this happens, Bird should sue for loss of earnings and damage to his reputation.

There is a Premiership to be won. Muscle up Sharks.

The club would be irresponsible to not bring him back if he is available. The more they try and sweep this under the rug the more the media assumes he is gone, thus the more pressure they face. They need to come out and show some support for him in light of her claims.

I reckon the damage has been done. Regardless of guilt, it's a f**ked up thing that can't be reversed at this crucial stage of the Sharks campaign towards a premiership.

I'm sure the players have already accepted thier obligations toward what needs to be done.

I obviously hope I'm wrong.

I doubt the charges will be dropped before October 8th. If they are it will be done at the court.

This will drag on for some time. The police are adamant they are going to press on with the GBH charge and I would be surprised if there are is not a further charge, as previously stated, for attempting to pervert the course of justice. There may be a third person or even fourth person yet to be charged as well.

He will not paly again this season and my conclusion is he will be sacked.

hahaha

so katie will stand by her man, and his friends

'the' katie that originally told police , along with bird, that it was watson who was responsible

the same katie they refuses to give a statement to police, which if bird is so innocent of this wrong doing, why does she not exonerate him now and save the love of her life the legal costs and the personal trauma

why???

because katie would know who really harmed her!

why???

because there is too much evidence at this stage

why execute her love by not telling the truth - as some feel to think

i do feel remorse for the injuries she sustained - that i am genuine about

bird is a lair, he leaves a wake of trouble in his path going off the back of his history - "he reacts first, thinks later"

this time i for one hope he is dealt with for the alleged incident, at this stage

i for one loath men that take to women in violence - they are pathetic and weak individuals mentally

on another note, as for needing bird in the team to win a premiership - pfffft

maybe my morals are different to some, but i hope i never see him in our jersey again

I think that once the full facts, not so much the alleged assault but the skullduggery that ensued, are released most bird supporters will drop off defending this mob.

I say 'no'. No-one except Bird and Milligan will know all the facts, but it seems likely this is a bloke that reacts with violence towards women. Did he mean it? Did he push her and she fall on the glass? Did he throw the glass and not mean to hit her? Who gives a sh*t. P*ss off out of the shire.
