Shoulder actually.....

No way!?! what is a Ferrari like Inglis doing using his shoulder in a game?
Thats as stupid as having Kaylen Ponga use his shoulder when you have literally no other attacking players capable of impacting the game. (Nathan Brown should be fired by the NRL over having KP at five-eight).
Anyone can tackle, its for mugs.
Keep the Ferrari's in the game longer, bring in platoons.

Thanks for the correction. The contradiction between the SC treatment of Watmough, Stewart & Matai still stands and now with Inglis.

Meanwhile Pascoe is banned for paying out a contract in full, within the SC and promising Farah a job afterwards.
Watmough's contract was cap exempt.

As for Stewart and Matai they were on back ended deals and still getting paid.

Cloning is illegal, But here is my team.

1. Inglis
2. Inglis
3. Inglis
4. Inglis
5. Inglis

Greg would school Mal, Reg anyone else. They would not be a run over but points against any in any back 5 spot.

Now cannot decide

6. Lewis/Fittler/Lockyer/Fulton/Daley and more

7. Johns/Langer/Stuart/Thurston/Jones and more

Then there is Beetson, Lazarus.and more

9. Cameron Smith, no dispute.

Then a shyte load of back rowers to pass to the Greg's.

I saw this question commented elsewhere, but if you had to clone 13 of one player through history, which player would you choose?

I don't any team of clones beating a team of Greg Inglis clones. He could play anywhere comfortably, he's just been the most lethal at centre/fullback.

Not true.

I reckon my team with allowed clones would.

Just one player maybe.

Greg could play anywhere, but Cameron is a better hooker, lazo a better prop, Lockyer a better 5/8, Johns a half.

Greg is the first I would pick for fullback, wing or centre not one other is better in my eyes.

I simply cannot name a better fullback, a better winger, or a better centre.

He cannot be everywhere so centre is where was generally best for team. Slater was great there, but for Souths the won a premiership with him there.

Too good for wing, but still better there than anyone you care to name.

I sometimes wonder if I watch a different game.

Darius Boyd should be paying Inglis 50% of his salary in perpetuity for being allowed to play outside him in origin and be made to look like a star.

The sheer joy on Inglis’s face when he scored his 2007 GF try was rugby league at its finest. You could see how much he just loved to play the game.

Hard to sidestep when you are being held by another defender and looking to pass.

Young was being brought down and totally blindsided. Any idea that he could "sidestep" is dumb as f**k.

That said it was more a timing issue than anything on GIs part to be fair

His charge over Anthony Watmough that night was insane

So it’s now being reported that Inglis will be paid $300k a year for an off field role at Souths.

Let’s get this straight:

* walks away from a $1.5mil contract to give Souths salary cap relief

* gets a $300k a year job in Souths office for let’s say, ohh I don’t know, 5 years?

* NRL sign off on it

And people are trying to say this doesn’t stink?

Nope he's foresaking 1.5 million from the rest of his contract.

He could have just sat out for 18 months and claimed his money.

So if JT still has a role at the cowboys it should be counted in their cap?

If he retired when he still had 18 months left on his contract then yes
