I don't think they will get rid of the canned Parra Chant altogether but at least it is now being used less and for shorter periods.

Erin doesn't have any control over Warren. You may need to tweet those a bit higher in the tree if you want Warren Knocked off his perch.

It has reduced, but it is relative.

To continue using that pathetic canned chant is a blight on our club, an embarassment. It stifles any organic chants that are starting. I would rather have silence than a 'parody' canned chant.

Hey guys; i was at the Parra dogs game earlier this year, and they were playing this really weird/annoying music, they wanted the crowd to sing along. My question is do you guys like it ? or think its embarrassing as f**K?

Tony, I have already had a chat with those higher up. Mark Warren's appointment was made, as far as I was told, by the previous game day manager, who left after game 2 this year.

Also as far as I heard his deal is for 2 years finishing this year, and I was told by the above mentioned higher up person he wouldn't be coming back if they had any say.

Having said that I would be happy for everyone to keep pressure on the club to get rid of Mark Warren.

As for the Sing-a-long. The Older folks seem to get into it, I just think it is cringe worthy as another club did it as well. I wonder if we share a sponsor. Having said that. I actually liked when the did "hey baby" I just think we need to teach everyone the "Parraletic" lyrics to that one.

Agreed , I really enjoy Neil Diamond (I guess that dates me as a fossil)
but PLEASE , how is Sweet Caroline in any way linked to , Parramatta ,the Eels , or Rugby League ? You may as well play My Sharona , at least up loud that would pump up the crowd.

If they did a survey to members about Warren, the response would be an overwhelming negative. The previous guy was Max Bowen and he was just as bad. How difficult is it to get someone to just read the important details and cut out the rubbish? Warren gives the impression he is being paid the more he talks.

And yes, I like Sweet Caroline but it has to go. There are plenty of other ways to 'pump up the crowd' rather than a singalong. How about the simple Parra chant? Seems obvious doesn't it?

Glad to hear Warren looks like being on the outer for next season - I don't think I could have faced another year of it :lol:.

A bit shocked to hear he's even worse at the after game functions than he is at the ground - I'm so glad I haven't bothered heading to the leaguesy afterwards, if it's just more of the same headache inducing garbage from Rabbits Jr.

Another bump - seems to be a regular thing.

Another terrible performance by him - getting the scores wrong (the big neon lights aren't that hard to read), calling the game as it went and generally talking too much.

I knew we were gone when he said 'I don't want to get ahead of myself'......when we were 18-0 up.

Seriously, how hard is it to give out the information correctly, NOT call the game and stop treating us like 3 year olds.

I hope the end of this season means the end of him.

Mark Warren was a disgrace last night, with 30 minutes to go he told the fans the score of 18 nil and then said, the words I can never say after 1998, "Look at the Score board".

From then on we didn't score a point.

Sorry for my superstition, but never do I want to hear those words when a game is going on. Especially not from the ground announcer.
