The Murray love is pretty funny.

He wasn't even mentioned on here until we signed Jim and now he is starting half back
In people's defence, most people wouldn't bother paying attention to our Toyota Cup team let alone another club

I would start with: 7. Robson; 6. Humble. I just hope that Kearney is not as stubborn as Anderson appeared to be with Mortimer`s selection. (Although, I guess we still don`t know if that was entirely Anderson`s choice, do we?)

We aren't guaranteed to struggle if Mortimer and Robson are the halves, they turned it on in 2009 didn't they? They have proven they can do the job, whether they can do it again of course is the $850,000 question.
Maybe not 'guaranteed' but IMO we will struggle if they are the halves.

They didn't 'turn it on' in 2009.
Robson did nothing and Morts only did a lot of support play, which was only due to all the offloads. Offloads that we had to rely on because the halves couldn't do the job that most other halves do.

We would've made the GF with anyone in the halves as they had no bearing whatsoever on the results. We didn't make the GF because of them, we made the GF despite them.:D

A. You can't marmalade your dick up a chicks arse.

Sorry - a chick told me that.

I'm sorry, I read your whole post, but that point immediately turns me off even bothering to answer the rest of it.....Robson did nothing? You are joking, right?

Q. What does a battery and your girlfriend's arsehole have in common?

A. You know it's wrong but sooner or later you're going to lick it.

I'll just put our side I think for round 1 - 4 persevere with

1. Hayne
2. Burt
3. Reddy
4. Tahu
5. Grothe
6. Mortimer
7. Robson/Murray
8. Poore
9. Keating
10. Moi moi
11. Hindmarsh (c)
12. Smith
13. Horo
14. McGuire
15. Mannah
16. Webb
17. Shackleton

Then to fit maitua into lock and horo on bench with shack a reserve as horo proved himself this season.

Boxhead, you think Robson is a NRL 7, you are kidding aren't you.

If he starts in the team we are doomed, you saw what happened in 2010 when he was expected to contribute, NOTHING.

Hopefully for his sake he gets a release to go the the UK, and gets to live off what happened in 2009 , everyone would win then.

People are forgetting why Robson played good. It was all Hayne seriously, like I have said every player was playing out of their skin off the back of Hayne and Robson's really wasn't good enough TBH. It was good for our ad-lib type style but he never organised, never was kicking well and never put players through holes.

I really am worried that he will be our half next year and if he is than we are doomed.

That wasn't my point at all Delboy, you completely missed what I meant in my reply.

I criticised the point that said Robson and Mortimer did nothing in 2009, when everyone knows they played brilliantly like everyone else......I didn't say whether they are up to standard or not.

And Robson is no more then a reserve grader, simple. Name another team in the NRL where Robson would go to and take over the starting number 7. No one.

I don't disagree with you mate, don't worry. However, as Robson has never let us down with his effort and commitment, I would still love to see him in the side (bench) as he is still useful as a utility/back-up player.
Of course, there are a lot of players far more talented than he is that we have, the reason a lot of people stick with Robson in their sides is the mentality that he is always so consistent and hard-working.

if he's not putting in, sure

I'm sort of divided on this; if Hayne under-performs drastically or doesn't put in the effort, and there are players who are actually working hard for spots, then he should be replaced; it's a mentality that can be taken with any player. Of course though, with how talented and highly paid he is, it would sort of really back-fire and even potentially make him go nuts at the coach and the board  FIREWORKS!!
