OK roughy you make a point, but when you have slater.......many get wasted, for the record I am of the opinion Inglis is the best fullback in the game, but all his teams (mel, qld aus) also has slater so he plays centre.

I will be interested how long before Ivan puts him @ 1 for the broncos......but I don't want to highjack.

We will find a winger.

Agreed. As far as I'm concerned, whenever he played at fullback he was the best player in the world bar none. He just had so much time to do something, and his size allowed him to get that quick play ball by thundering into the line.

Just on Hayne... maybe he didn't get enough free tickets?

Haynes been great for Parra and VGood for NSW (intermittently) but for Australia he's been totally anonymous! He carries a threat by reputation but has largely been a passenger and Ryan Hall had him in his pocket each game last year.

That said, if we suddenly had a repeat of grannygate and found out that Hayne wasn't Fijian "cough" Australian but English then I'd be delighted because he'd walk onto the England backline and could pick his own position.

Did you see his games for Norths Devils? 17 years old and scored more tries than played games against men whilst a boy...just stood out every game..went to top and kept it going.

Missed it.:( Just an extraordinary player at fullback. Far more than he is at centre.

Sunrise said Lote Tuqiri is the favourite. I may have heard wrong though, but I heard his name and "to replace Jarryd Hayne".

I have heard either Dugan or Croker are likely to be called in, don't know how accurate that is though.

Good on Tuqiri, that's quite a return. From being dumped by the Wallabies to being selected as a Kangaroo.

I feel Gordon was cheated though.

WESTS Tigers winger Lote Tuquiri has been added to the Kangaroos squad for the Four Nations tournament as a replacement for the injured Jarryd Hayne.
Parramatta fullback Hayne withdrew from the squad last night with a hamstring injury
Tuqiri will join the Kangaroos in camp today.
He returns to the Australian set-up for the first time in eight years, having played five Tests from 2001-2002.
