Im going to be really keen to see how people respond if Hayne doesnt make it. He is widely regarded as probably the NRL's best athlete... Interesting.

At the end of the season, it opens to 90 men, and from there there is a number of "cut" days, but usually the last cuts, from 75 down to 53 are made about a week out from seasons kick off. Late August

Cheers nick

I just hope he gets the opportunity to try without injury. If he gets one it could end before it starts.

you quoted a post referring to Richard Sherman, you trackhead.

I wasn't referring specifically to your boyfriend, just the assertion that all NFL players are geniuses.

Gridiron is better sport than Rugby League.

I'm not a troll, just stating facts.

Not it's not, in fact it's oobjectively worse.

Are you f**king geniused or something??

Who on earth even went close to suggesting that??

What an irrational idiot you are....

It has nothing to do with Hayne the athlete... It's the fact he's 28 with no background in american football. If he transitioned over earlier and played college football for a couple of seasons then I'd give him a fair shot...

But he's trying to walk directly in to the NFL.... There's no 2nd tier league for him to hone his skills in... He has to be ready to jump straight out on that field at the highest level.

If roles were reversed NFL players would be exactly the f**king same...

I've always stated its a long shot, what I object to is fanboys like you claiming NFL players are gods amongst men.

You've made that up just so you can have a rant.

Bullshit, have a look at this thread. 95% of all posts are pro NFL and over exaggerate their skill sets and intelligence to ridiculous extremes.

It even makes massive Union fans like you seem unbiased.

Objectively?

Objectively, Aussie Rules is better than League.

Objectively, Lawn Bowls is better than League.

There is no objectively about it. American football is played by quick thinking, superior athletes. There brain is like an encyclopedia of playbooks/textbooks.

What do League players have to remember? Run a decoy & pass the ball sideways?

League is the working man's game - because the working man is stupid. If they were smart they wouldn't be working.

Compare the NRL forum to the NFL. I think it's safe to say those who post in the NFL (which I am among), are fair smarter than the plodders who post here. This plus is full of inane dribble.

In nutshell....
NFL=intelligence
NRL=fast pace brutality which keep the commoners amused. Look at the pretty colours......

The NRL players (like the nfl players) aren't working. They are playing footy. Does this make them intelligent?

I think Hayne has caught Falou and Hunt disease.
Thinking the grass is faking greener when it's not.
The NRL,,,, well rugby league to be honest,,,, is the place to be.

The world outside America has built their own codes, they wont be stopping to support American faking Gridiron.
Same as the world wont be stopping to support Australian faking rules,.

Are you trying to say the NFL doesn't spend every waking moment trying to keep the commoners amused, they do it more so than the NRL. You for example.

No.

What I'm saying is League can only be entertaining to the dull of mind. To understand NFL, you have to think & only appeals to those who can use abstract though. And that's why a lot of Australians don't/can't like/understand it.

Please be trolling. I am a big NFL fan but that is just not the case. The NFL does the best job of appealing to the masses of Americans but most Americans would not understand or like the NRL.

Look at his intelligence in his reply to me.
He will be trying to tell us the buff-headed soccer crowd has more intelligence next.
He needs a faking holiday, to clear his head. Its full of shite.

:) You have to think, like what touchdown you are on, is it the 3rd or the fifth, gee, i cant remember.
Watching the NRL you dont have to think, you just sit back and enjoy the faking code.

The day i start watching NFL is the day i will start watching blokes hit a faking golfball on TV.
Along with the other pensioners.

You claim that it's a fact that it's a better sport, it's not a fact it's just one arseholes opinion.

To pretend that 3 nerds posting in the sub forum of a League website is representative of the sports is grasping at best.

Why the f**k are you even a member here when clearly you don't like the game?

Must be why the sport is only played in America, they're the only ones 'intelligent' enough to grasp the idea of it.

It isn't as complex a game as what people make out.
