??? NFL players, in fact American sportsmen in general, are far far far more eloquent than League players.
Richard Sherman as thick as pig shit... good one.
"Yeh dog"
"That's all money"

This isn't the case with Hayne, who was about the most gifted athlete in the code.
What... Do you actually think all this signing talk has actually changed something??
Nothing's changed...
Any man and his dog is signed up with an NFL team when the rosters are expanded from 53 to 90.
What we've always been talking about is actually making the 53 man roster.... If he's lucky he might crack the 10 man practice squad...
But nothing has changed.... He's too much of a risk to have taking up a roster spot...

I'm an Internet troll?? who the f**k are you princess???Either way what anyone on here is saying is out of Haynes control. He is giving it a go. He may make it he may not. I'm not in a position to make a call on his chances but by all accounts he is up against it. However im noticing a typical trend in some of these threads..
What makes him a successful athlete and you a internet troll is attitude. He has a positive attitude and is willing to take a risk an judging from your posts you're negative and behaving like a typical tall poppy slasher.
If it was your brother or nephew or someone you knew you'd be supportive.
He went to Stanford. One of the top academic universities in the world. And yes, you do have to academically qualify to get a scholarship there.
Why do you assume someone who uses street language is stupid?

I have nothing but the greatest respect for Jarryd and what he's doing... Does it mean I should suspend common sense and blindly ignore the fact that he's got very little chance of succeeding.
If anything... Nuthuggers like you are f**king trolling... All we're doing is offering an honest opinion based on the fact we follow both sports closely... But for some reason pricks like you seem to get butthurt with the mere suggestion that someone from rugby league can't transition to another sport....
Get the f**k outta here son....

Who the f**k is Richard Sherman and what makes you think my post refers to him specifically? Or any other post in this thread?
Explain to me how your bum buddy is representative of the hundreds of NFL players that don't go to Stanford? ?
Want to play football in the states, must graduate High School, must attend College and hold at least a 2.0 GPA. There is the odd dumb one, but for most part they are a lot for academic.

Are you f**king geniused or something??It's dick riders like you and your buddies that claim that NFL players would win every medal in Summer and Winter Olympics, average 120 in international cricket and work for NASA whilst curing cancer.
Too late...I hear they're only looking at NFL players for candidates for the manned mission to Mars.
Gridiron is better sport than Rugby League.
I'm not a troll, just stating facts.
Are you f**king geniused or something??
Who on earth even went close to suggesting that??
What an irrational idiot you are....
It has nothing to do with Hayne the athlete... It's the fact he's 28 with no background in american football. If he transitioned over earlier and played college football for a couple of seasons then I'd give him a fair shot...
But he's trying to walk directly in to the NFL.... There's no 2nd tier league for him to hone his skills in... He has to be ready to jump straight out on that field at the highest level.
If roles were reversed NFL players would be exactly the f**king same...
When do the NFL teams finalise their 53 man squads?
