Gray is way better at left centre as we all saw the last part of the year he was moved in from wing to centre where he was a gun and a real bull and handful
It's his fav position and he played all his junior football there
No reason to put him back out on the wing ,Braidon Byrnes is the prime candidate for that spot

If Burns or Jennings go well on the wing in the pre season games, then I don't have a problem with one of them being on the wing in Round 1, with Gray in the centres, but if we see that Jennings and Burns aren't ready for first grade, and we have Goodwin and Gray in the team, then I'd rather Gray on the wing, because Goodwin isn't that good on the wing now, but he is pretty good in the centres, whereas Gray is good in the centres and wing.

I said we upped his offer/contract. I thought it was obvious that, that was for 2018 & 19. That's why I didn't mention the year initially.

They have a few good prospects already for hooker so decided they didn't need Cook.

Actually it was Pommy who said we would have had to increase the amount he was on next year to keep him for next season, after I said we already had him signed for next year, so we wouldn't have to increase the amount he is on next year.

For all we know the 2017 contract was torn up and this is a replacement. That how I would expect a contract negotiation to work. Otherwise Cook might as well have held out a bit longer.
