Cook is a 2nd grader--we are best to play Farah for 80 & play a good forward off the bench!!
I think Sths could be in for a very tough year!!

GI,Sam & Farah are now older players. GI's fitness over a long season is a concern.

I don't see anything to get truly excited about in our signings either!!

What makes you say that Doyen???
I believe he played for the Australian side ..... Pea hearts don't get selected to represent Australia in our sport ?

I've just heard that,as a big lad,he is tops with the little boys!! But not so great when the going gets tough!! The Panthers were quite happy to let him go!!!!

Starting Tom over George?
Has been the better player over the last 18 months. George needs a bit of a kick up the backside, he is one of the highest paid forwards in the game and if losing your starting spot to your brother doesn't fire you up nothing will.
Also shorter stints off the bench may help george find that impact his been missing these last 2 seasons

I think panthers were happy to let him go because they already have mansour, dwz, whare, peachey and a million more quality outside backs

I'm not being grumpy!! Our best hope is for a player like Cody to have gained the confidence to take his game to a much higher level next season! If he & AR stay healthy & perform very well we will go OK.
We can't just rely on GI even though he is by far our best!!

Our signings are nothing very special & are players that other clubs didn't fight too hard to retain!!

Hopefully any potential that they have will blossom but I have my concerns.

One must realise the worst scenarios if one is not to be too disappointed!!

This is true--however,they must have considered Jennings of lesser value than the ones you mentioned!!

I cerainly would not have Goodwin on the wing now too slow etc but awesome for bringing the ball back from last tackle kicks
Problem is who do we put on that spare wing ?

Not sure how many trials we are booked in to play early nexy year, but I would definitely be trialling some up and coming young player in that wing postion.

Yea i don't quite believe that. I think it's the same as inglis's bung knee, a conventional excuse that is brought up to excuse a quite patch in form, yet GI's infamous bung knee never strikes in origin or test games

I live in an area that has a Panthers Club & plenty of supporters--nobody was too upset about his departure!!

Then again,he is young & has talent;so I live in hope that his heart & his will matches this talent!!

GI had a problem with his knee during the last test against NZ. It isn't made up.
