Were peptides used primarily for aiding healing times for injuries?
If so, then could it be possible to rule out players from 2011 who were not injured?
Gallen played 20 of 24 games in 2011, I think he missed one game either side of the 3rd Origin.
Wade Graham played all 24 games
Matt Wright missed the last 4 games, presumably after Dank left. He only missed one other game during the year.
Sam Tagatese played every game he could for the Sharks after a mid season transfer from Titans. He played for Titans in Round 13, and Sharks in Rounds 15 to 26 (Sharks had the bye in Round 14)
Ben Pomeroy only missed one game (Round 1)
Just trying to properly look for some facts.
It seems to be a lot of piss and wind and not much substance to this and I get the impression it's just interviews.
The talk of 6 month suspensions tells me that ASADA are trying to do whatever they can to save face, if some players take a ban, guilty or not, then it will be seen by the public as though ASADA is effectively doing it's job.
ASADA was not so long ago heavily criticised by some sports medicine professionals for being essentially, shithouse, having only picked up one athlete in a year for using banned substances. This could be ASADA's way of shutting up their critics.
Sharks shouldn't accept any bullshit ASADA offers until the facts are put forward.
