Slipknot would have to be one of, if not the most commercially known metal band of the recent decade in the "charts".
Plus all their fans who crap on about Jordison being the best drummer evar!

They suck so bad they can't even play their own f**king songs live. And what makes it worse is that their "songs" are basically only one song with different lyrics over the top each time. :lol:

Same goes for Slipknot, I haven't ever found anyone who actually rates them besides angsty 13 year old boys.

I'd give a +1 to nearly all the bands listed in this thread, besides Iron Maiden of course. Saying Iron Maiden is overrated is blasphemy.

Does being commercially known make a band overrated though? I cant say ive heard many people go on about how good slipknot are, they're well known but i dont think that really means they're overrated. Anyway, each to their own.

Music is fine as a hobby, the fact these useless people even get paid at all shows everything that is wrong with society.

You would think they do something worthwhile like cure disease, design or build but no we reward useless humans.
