I'm with El Diablo on this one.

Donnie Darko 2 will be bullsh*t.

But who am I to judge - this was the first I've even heard about such a sequel.

Hollywood is really struggling to be inventive and new.

I bet this will be in the same lower bracket as that Freeway 2 sequel.
The original Freeway with Sutherland and Witherspoon was excellent but the sequel was horrendous.

Donnie Darko 2? They should have left it at part one.
It was its own.....stand alone film.

They'll just be stretching the story line and will struggle for new concepts.

I think in part one the deleted scene about carving Jack'O'lanterns should have been in the film.
Plus other bits they chopped.

Is Drew Barrymore having anything to do with part 2?

It'll be crap.

P.S. I got hold of April Fools Day yesterday for only $19.
I've gotta pick up Happy Birthday to Me next week.

El Diablo......I didn't like Maniac.
It's grubby and stupid.
It's not corny like the typical camp crystal type forest teen movies.
Rather bizzare Maniac is though.

Don't expect Happy Birthday to Me to be 1980s cheesy either. It was out in 1980 and is still very much a 1970s style horror film minus the synthesizer music, fountains of fake blood, etc.

Guess what I just got hold of?

$27

El diablo - did you get your copy yet?

Mine's unedited too.

Hey, I was right, the killer is the guy from Stallone's original Rocky movie.

Gee, my eye sight is outstanding.

Remember how Pauly used to collect money for a street pimp? The guy with the fur over-coat and glasses? He was at Rocky's wedding in part 3 too.
He's the killer in Maniac.

I just ordered Happy b/day to me and April fools day and will recieve them by Friday.

I've had that movie for years bought for 15 bucks, personally I think you wasted your money but to each his own I guess

A major haul at EzyDVD the other day.......Zombie Holocaust, Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things, Deep Red (Argento), Slumber Party Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes I & II and Blood Feast 2........and surprise, surprise, sitting right there in the horror section that I had never seen before........almost all of them were $10.

They had Inseminoid and Last House on the Left but I wasn't going to take a punt on them considering the dodgy reviews. Shrunken Heads, a newish horror movie was available too, much cheaper than I got it for a Red Eye Records.

Red Eye Records gets a thumbs up from me.....but the section for horror movies upstairs is somewhat limited.

The remake should be destroyed at all costs. I agreed that they should remake it, as it definitely is a lost classic.

But, the remake is sooooo awful. Get the original out at all costs. To this day, it would still spook me if I watched it alone.

The chick in the remake couldn't act for sh*t.

I saw this film back in 1984, hell it was violent. Micheal J Fox also starred in the film. Teacher teacher

I watched Zombie Holocaust....it sucked.......just like I DRINK YOUR BLOOD......any of those re-released horror movies with that comic book presentation on the cover are absolute trash.....all dressed up, but total 70's borefest as opposed to gorefest.

Yep thats right. And there was the scene where he hallucinated on PCP/Angel Dust and climbed up a school flagpole and i think he fell down. Or it may have been another schoolkid or something. Weird movie that one.

Classic OVP, great film for it's time. Was rumours of a remake doing the rounds a while ago too.

"Face the music teacher teacher"
"Wait a minute, you're in this class, sit down"
"Sit on this, motherf**ker!"

Classic. Nice haircut on Michael Fox (as he was known then) too. lol
