"You imbecile!"

God damn it!

I was under the impression that the Massacre at central High was readily available at the video shop today!
Why didn't you say so!

Are you telling me that it was for hire on VHS 5 years ago?

But it's not for sale on DVD in this Concord West video store today?

God damn it!

You're lucky I didn't charge all the way over there looking for it today on a Saturday!
(I was heading over there Monday!)

God damn bum steer!

In future clarify yourselves.

Well done, Impellittiri.

Lol sorry dude.....wasn't meant to confuse, just pointing out that it is a rarity when it comes to availability.

Hopefully my links that I've provided will make up for it........anyway, here are the highlights of Massacre At Central High....the rest of the movie isn't so great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKvgOpf9SWM

Make up nothing, guy!
You're confusing the masses.
Or, somebody is.

Here.
Watch!

Slaughter High does not come under the title Cutting Class!

Cutting Class is that dreadful Brad Pit movie.
They're entirely two different movies.

Impellittiri, I think we're gonna have to come to the conclusion that you're an unreliable source and I may have to sack you on the spot.
You've been misguiding the gullible public, guy.

Hang on a minute.....Massacre at central High....I've seen this! Channel 10 showed this one night years ago at one in the morning. The killer's just some skinny kid. He goes up to a guy who's working under his car and the killer pulls the jack away and crushes the fool.
I've seen that. It's sh*t if I remember correctly.

Mark in that youtube link preview for Massacre at central High is a splitting image of Josh Morris from The Dragons.

Haha, yeah, the death scenes were funny though.

For example, he drains the pool at the school and then one of the drunk jocks cracks himself in half when he goes late night diving with the lights off.

The guy flying his hang glider into the overhead powerlines and the magic blue electricity effects coupled with an obvious dummy.

The naked dudes / girls on the beach was lame too.

maniac remake???

Director-Producer William Lustig was on hand to introduce the classic '80s film, which follows a schizoid, serial killer who randomly stalks and kills various young women in New York (something he sees as revenge for the mistreatment he got while being raised by his own abusive mother). Brian asked him a few questions, one about a possible remake. "Has any once approached you about remaking MANIAC, and how would you feel about it?" His reply, "I would feel great about it because it's money, and yes we have been approached..."

He continued to share with the audience some of the details including that they are in negotiations with a major studio to remake the film. The budget would be $12 million and it will be directed by a current high profile horror film director.

Once again, please take this strictly as rumor until confirmed.

That's my copy of Horror High.

If this film is Return to Horror High then was there a Horror High to begin with?
Is Return to Horror High the sequel to something?

I made 'the olds' watch Piranha last night.
They seemed to enjoy it.
I like listening to the noise the killer fish make.
It's laughable. (In a funny way.)
We all started imitating the fish sounds walking around last night as it sounds like our cat when he purrs in full swing.

I didn't watch it myself.

I sat up and watched "The American Nightmare."

AmericanNightmare.jpg

It's a doco that came with my Tob Hooper collection.
Rather interesting too.
I didn't know Tom Savini was in Vietnam.
He was a photographer over there and took all these gruesome snap shots.
They showed 'em too.
Pretty full-on.

They claimed that a lot of the old horror films were in relation to the political themes of the day.
They sort of intertwined the theme of horror film and Vietnam as well through the documentary.
Like, comparing it as inspiration.
I don't know if the link fitted. It was a pretty weak connection if that's how it was intended.
For instance, they claim that Texas Chainsaw Massacre was based on an era where there was no fuel in the states.
And that Last House on the left had taken scenes from that famous shooting overseas.
They sort of said that it was all political. I can't explain it.

I ordered Maniac last Thursday, was it?
It only has to come from The City or Cronulla and I rings up this morning and they tell me it's not in yet.
I have to wait till Wednesday.

In that doco last night they showed a bit of Maniac - the part where he has a rifle and scopes the two making love in the car, and I can guarantee you that that following scene will be edited in my version I get.
The guy's head gets absolutely blasted to kingdom come!
It looks real. They'd filmed it from the back seat of the car and it's quite realistic.
It's actually more realistic than Fincher's Zodiac cab scene shooting. (That looked too fake.)

I was reading about this one last night. It's called Cheerleader Camp.
Supposedly it's rather sleazy and cheap..
It also went under the title Bloody Pom Poms. (I think we saw that.) The Australian version was called Bloody Pom Poms and The Yanks went under the title Cheerleader Camp.
Not Space Camp either.

At EzyDVD Happy b/day To Me and My Bloody Valentine both appear to be available to the public.
Bit pricey though.

madman2.jpg

Remember Madman?
That axe scene especially.
He puts an axe in the chopping block and all through the movie nobody can pull it out and along comes Madman with his weak hand and pulls it out no sweat.
Blatant rip-off to Friday the 13th.

P.S. Got an interesting story to tell ya guys.
Backpacker killer Ivan Milat and his brother Richard tried to pick me and my brother up once when we lived on 299 Epsom Road Moorebank.
That's a whole different story though.
But one other time, just before video disappeared, we hired this.

309

It was an old video that wound its way to Liverpool Video Ezy some how.
Originally it came from some drive-through pub video store from down Campbelltown way. (Either Ingleburn or Leumeah.)
Cut a long story short, I hired it for $2.
Got home took out the video cover from the case and Ivan Milat had wrote on the inside of the cover what horror movies he enjoyed and listed his favourite ways of killing.
Even signed it Ivan The Terrible Milat.
Wish I had'a kept it.

I've got absolutely no idea where I'm going with this letter to the editor below.
I'm really struggling today.

I always thought that Algebra was useless in school.
But then it occurred to me that if you were a serial killer the fractions could quite come in handy.
Dismemberment would require knowledge about quarters and thirds right?
You could slice up a human like a pizza if you lived in a third world country and keep tabs on family members on whose eating the most portions!
Although if you were to dice a human for stew then it could get a little complicated.
We might move in to far heavier equations where fractions could become quite useless.
Kilos could replace algebra.

That's not how I intended it to come out.

Ever Lovin'

It was serious the day he tried to pick us up!
We were only 5 and 6 at the time and they wanted us to show them where some water damn was.
They half got out of the car and tapped their knee and said, "come over here, show us where the weir is around here."

Impellitirrii

I did get it from EzyDVD. (The blue shop) But it's fast being deleted. It only comes in U.S. format.

AILD this Inside movie, is that The Inside? Ryan Phillippe?

It's not one of those dumb Asian movies is it?

Hey, see this below?

t22618bxbpu.jpg

If you go to Slaughter High at imbd they say that it's also known as April Fools Day as well.

Oh and I finds that there's a 2008 release of April Fools Day. They've remade it. Today's times are attempting to ruin another one of yesteryears oldies.
Amazing how movie producers today can't come up with something original.
They continue to peck away at the movies from yesterday and can't come up with anything of their own.

Tomorrow I pick up Maniac hopefuly!
I'm actually looking forward to watching this.

Yesterday I bought "My life as a house" and I had in my hand as well the 2006 remake of The Fog and I asked the guy if it was any good and he goes, "no, they butchered it, do not buy that."
Good honest opinion.
Did anybody see the remake of The Fog?
I like the original with Jamie Lee Curtis and Halloween 3's Tom Atkins.
It's a neat little film.

Wonder if The Slayer would be any good?
I started watching Eaten Alive last night and it's cheap and stupid.

I'm sending this to the paper today about Kangaroo culling.
Letters Editor.
Yes we should cull The Roos.
With a double edged axe blade to the neck to create larger splatter patterns to decorate Canberra.
It's so dry down there.
Then we could divide the body parts up and do a test in the mail to see if express or standard mail delivers parts faster than the other.

$27

El diablo - did you get your copy yet?

Mine's unedited too.

Hey, I was right, the killer is the guy from Stallone's original Rocky movie.

Gee, my eye sight is outstanding.

Remember how Pauly used to collect money for a street pimp? The guy with the fur over-coat and glasses? He was at Rocky's wedding in part 3 too.
He's the killer in Maniac.

I just ordered Happy b/day to me and April fools day and will recieve them by Friday.

El Diablo

Be warned: The DVD copy of Maniac is poor quality.
It's very dark and I'm disappointed a little.
At times you can't make out the scenes.
It's poor lighting on the set.
And the sound volume was terrible too.
