Ah, but you forget one salient point. The closest star system to ours is 7light years away, that is travelling at the speed of light would take 7 years to get here, but that and all other star systems we can see have no life. Therefore as one can not travel faster than the speed of light to get here they would have to bendspace/time to do so.Given then that they have that technology they would obviously use it to simply look through space in search of sloar systems with life. Would take no more than 12 hour to search our entire galaxy. Another hour to warm up the power drives and approx i nano second to get here. If they got the tech they be shakein your hand in 1 hr 5 mins and 1 nano second, don't answer the next knock on your door Willow. LOL

Yes Rasputin... but you're still assuming that they will have this technology during a period in the Earth's history when the place is fertile, civilised (in a manner of speaking) and full of church cake stalls and so on...

oh goodness, whole lot of assuming going on tonight!

What have dinosaurs got to do with UFOs?? I was merely pointing out the fact that people in here cannot spell ;)

Struth willow, get over star trek and get with the plot. If you have the tech to bend space time you would be here all the time from trex to cake stalls. To get here you would have to have the tech, if you got the tech you know when to come. That's why I said they aint been here andaint coming, it can't be done.

Right... but if they really like Moffo's cakes stalls they might make a special trip.
And who says they aren't coming?

Hang on... I have to check something outside, the dogs are barking and a really bright light has just descended outside by the barn...

"Imagine putting the pieces of a million fine wrist watches in a paper bag (a big bag). Now shake this bag for 6 billion years and expect the watches to be running and on perfect time when you are finished. Preposterous, isn't it? Yet we are to have faith that our intricately designed universe came about by a "Big Bang," a feat that is statistically impossible without "Intelligent Design" as part of the equation." quoted from the website I posted in #236.
The world is full of examples of design - all the amazing patterns in nature, the way the human body works, and on and on. If there is design (as opposed to the randomness of evolution), there must have been a Designer - God.
The world is full of motion - the tides, wind, the turning of the earth itself, etc. If there is motion, there must have been a Mover who set all the motion in place - God.
The world is governed by laws - the law of gravity, etc. So there must have been a Lawmaker - God.

"The theory that life began in the slime has been proven scientifically impossible. It is more probable statistically that lightning struck in the bog next to the landing pad at Cape Canaveral resulting in the creation of the Space Shuttle, than it is for simple life to have come into being as the Theory of Evolution claims. One DNA molecule is a million times more intricate than the most advanced computer that man has created. It is absolutely not possible for one of these molecules to have been created by chance, and modern science has admitted this as fact. Yet we see continued forceful presentation of these untruths by the established scientific community via Public TV, National Museums, Public Schools, National Geographic Society, etc.. The Theory of Intelligent Design actually holds more rational evidence than does the Theory of Evolution, yet there is a concerted establishment effort to deny it as even a possibility.
