I never really rated him either, but he is huge and aggressive (except when Pommeroy punched seven shades of shit out of him).
He would be okay in short bursts to give Fifi or Gal (if he goes to prop) a quick spell.

Bit of a tongue twister there chewy.

Try and say "Seven shades of shit" seven times fast.

Saw a rumour on one of the FB pages saying theres a few clubs interested in Luke Lewis and he WILL leave if the price is right.
Apparently we want Samisoni Langi?

What is a Samisoni Langi?

Anybody got more info? CB4 any truth to it mate?

I actually forgot we even had Lewis on the books.

Samisona Langi is a phuqing gun player. Got a MOM award at age 20 in a test for Tonga 2 years ago playing out of the NYC. Kicks goals. Can play anywhere from centre through to second row but has been really good at 5/8 in games I have seen him play.

Langi for Lewis, if it were true, would be an ideal swap IMO because I think Lewis is headed for sacred cow status

Lewis rivals toups (first contract) as one of our most overpaid and underachieving players to date. Having said that he stood no chance with cancer recovery and shoulder surgery over the past two years. Should go well fresh this year and injury free. Hopefully he feels he owes the club a good year. Mosse goes well for a caveman.

So Ferguson will play. Does this make SKD reconsider his options and if so should we dangle an improved offer in front of him?

I say go it.

SKD again showed his form during the four nations as a strike centre and he could click with us with an all star NZ backline: Feki, Beale, SKD, (Holmes/Gagan/Brown...)

Been too long since we had a backline that could crack the top four in attack and maybe this is our chance...

A very close source to SKD has informed me unless we offer him more coin than he is currently on at the chooks, he will stay put and rather play on the wing.

Pretty silly on his behalf considering he will be doing less work out wide that won't do his price tag any favours for beyond 2015.

I suppose it all depends on much we are willing to offer now that fergo is back on the scene.

Lewis is a gun and we'd be stoopid to get rid of him.

In fact the only stupidity I see is the way we have been using him.

Hopefully 2015 will see the bloke be given a bit of licence to play how he likes.

If you start to see the usual match plan. 5 one out hit ups and a kick than you know that LL is not being used properly.

Brief mention in the SMH today that Flanno's looking to play Barba as a trailing player with Lewis and Graham to increase ball-playing duties on the edges. I like the idea of it as long as that doesn't mean no runners..
