I don't care that it was shit.

What I care about is the players singing about our club.

Anything that inspires passion in our players for the colours we love is fine by me.

P.S. f**k I love those mermaids, I wanna sleep with 1 of them!

Dear Sharks Family,

At this very special time of the year I wanted to send you my heartfelt season's greetings while also thanking you for the incredibly warm welcome that so many of you have given me since my arrival at our club.

I have been both flattered and humbled by the positive sentiments and sense of optimism you have shared with me and equally, blessed in such a short timeframe, to be able to experience first-hand the remarkable pride, passion and rich heritage that sits so strongly across our Sharks family.

As I said at our recent Community Forums, the future of our club can never be built around any individual but can and must only be built through a collaborative partnership approach with the most important stakeholders of our club, our Members, our fans and our community and business partners.

Have no doubt that I fully believe that together we are about to embark on an incredibly exciting journey that will see our club become a benchmark across the NRL on and off the field.

Based on our recent forums and the myriad of feedback we have received from our members and supporters we are putting together for you a fan engagement, game day experience and community driven focus that will be second to none.

To this end, there will never be a better time to be a member of our club and to support us with every piece of energy you can on the journey ahead. Together we will create something very special!

As a part of our commitment to listening to you, we have taken on board your feedback regarding the member renewal process and have decided to extend that period for you until 22 January so that none of our wonderful members are disadvantaged. Equally, your comments regarding seat allocation and match day parking are also fully on board and will be addressed once the renewal period closes.

We will schedule further forums in early February so we can share with you some of the highlights of the journey ahead and continue to listen to your feedback.

In the interim my door is always open should you have any idea at all that you feel could help grow our club to the level we all aspire to.

My warmest wishes for a safe, relaxing and fulfilling festive season and a year ahead that brings you every joy you seek.

It is most certainly going to be a big one in Sharkland.

Best regards

Lyall

Like this new openness the club is promoting...Very different to the last few years.. Also glad to see a few women involved in our club at this level. Should be more...

nah, brown does pretty well, but he'll be overpriced on that contract

on top of trying to hunt Cherry-Evans and Merrin, put some money into luring Peachey back to the nest

Brown went off towards the end of last season really hit his strides as one of the sharpest utilities going... As much as I like the idea of having 3x Browns in the fold.. Pass.. Going forwards we need a star halfback and a young non nonsense prop..

Hear what ya saying but I'd say he would be good value.

We may lose Gal & / or Lewis & / Tupou at the end of next year, we could do with his experience.
