I get the feeling Michael won't come back to haunt us in the same way Willie and Bobcat did, but hey I've been wrong before.

I've said it before and I'll say it again Witts a champion bloke and one of the nicest guys to put on our jersey, however his general attatude and performance meant he was only getting in the way of the development of kids like Blakey, Smith and Marcus.

whether it was Brians fault or not!! [who knows] didn't excuse him to down tools and not give a stuff which in my opinion he did, and I saw evidence of it.

Well...He'll always be famous in my eyes anyway - for THAT dropout!!!

I never rated him that highly myself either 2 be perfectly honest - and his brother's even WORSE!!!...But several Parra fan mates of mine whose opinions i trust & respect, were all in a lather over him early in 2004!...and are really quite disappointed he'd been all but pushed out the door...And i spose theyve seen 1 or 2 more Eels games than me! ;-)

Horses for courses anyway...as quite often a change of scenery can really give a good or ordinary player, but with great potential...that little kick up the bum to really go on and realise that potential...rather than staying in their familiar, comfortable environment, and just 'coasting' along in their comfort zone!
