You are welcome, my Lord. By the way, where may I purchase the book you wrote on sentencing principles?
You don't need to. Search either the Summary Offenses Act 1981 or Crimes Act 1961 from a New Zealand perspective. They're not books, but pieces of legislation.

I don't live in Australia but I'm sure there's an equivalent.

I take it you’ve never seen the 73 grand final? It was Game of Thrones level hurt. I dare you not to get hard watching it.

What is also an issue is that the MRC won’t take action either.

PVL talks about cleaning up the game, setting an example and continuing the growth of Rugby League. This is one area which doesn’t get the attention needed.

The rules are there to be used and as fans, we have to accept that they are there. If a player got binned for dissent, I’d be angrier at the player than the referee.

You’ve experienced it at JRL level and it’s not accepted there but it’s fine when there is viewers, listeners and fans at the ground (normally).

Might part of the problem be that nowdays the MRC is made up mainly (if not completely) of ex-players?

Not to forget the coach who actively encouraged retribution on Jai Arrow before the last time we played each other.
He told them to go hard, not to commit illegal play. In the end, it was really only Fifita that crossed line and he got dealt harsher by Robbo than his pussy punch on Arrow. I love how you lot are trying to spin this. Now Jared has had harsh words with Trell and Souths demand justice.

It's all a bit of fun. Gotta entertain ourselves somehow while we wait for the inevitable 1v2 GF!

Who said he was going in there to actually apologise though? The speculative ch9 media who thought there was nothing wrong with the tackle at all?

South Sydney officials told the Herald Mitchell wanted to check on Manu’s condition in person. Mitchell did not appear to take kindly to Waerea-Hargreaves’ comments, walking away from the conversation before returning to express his views

The biggest issue with Latrell caving Joey's face in is JWH's running style apparently.

After what they saw on the pitch and on the sidelines, Souths are pretty dumb thinking Latrell could just stroll into the sheds and things would be all good. An official from Souths should‘ve made the first approach to one of our guys thus giving our club a chance to calm the players down. That’s if Souths genuinely gave a shit.

I'm just responding to someone claiming "he didn't even try to apologise"

Now he's stupid for trying to apologise

"It comes as Mitchell promised teammates he will stick around for the rest of the season and do whatever it takes to help the team progress to this year’s grand final without him, showing no desire to return home to Taree until South Sydney’s campaign draws to a close."

wow thats good of him lol.
