It's not a completely outlandish defence. But as I said, the pounding he's copped in the media, there's no way the he gets off, the judiciary would never hear the end of it

"Woe is me!"

It is outlandish because it's completely bullshit.

This does him and the club no favours, he needs to own up to it.

I hate this Gen Y bullshit of the perpetrator becoming the victim after a few days media scrutiny.

He should have taken the guilty plea discount.

Pretty sure as this was referred directly to the judiciary - there is no guilty plea discount.

EDIT: Never mind, just saw there was 25% reduction on offer for a guilty plea. What a pillock for not taking it.

Judiciary might say that regardless of his intention his teeth came in contact with slaters ear.

Grade 3 careless bite charge? Lol.

Hilarious reading from some Bulldogs fans across the Interwebs.... Some are suggesting that the Bulldogs should sue Slater for defamation.

f**king morons.

Maybe he was whispering in Slaters ear and some one knocked the top of his head causing him to catch Slaters ear in his teeth .....

If the above is his excuse he needs a good lawyer..... but I reckon that will be his reason.

As I have already said James Graham's defence will be that he was mouth open and telling slater what a grub he is when he got hit on the head causing him to accidental bite slaters ear.

Going to need a good lawyer though

My first post was made about half time and I had only seen it once on ch9 replay My initial reaction after seeing it was that he might not of done it deliberately.

I think there is a good chance he might get off

I think there is a good chance that you were high when you posted that.

In the middle of a fight, he decided to whisper in Billy's ear.

He should get 10 weeks extra just for bullshitting.

Anything less than 10 weeks is a disgrace...

As for someone suggesting that the Judiciary won't let him off because of the media pressure... Interesting that they let Minichiello off for his flying elbow.

I expect the Judiciary to hold form and let him off, then early in Season 2013 a non-NRL favourite team player to get a massive suspension for a weak as piss charge.

Now that the dogs have plead not guilty, does anyone know if any medical confirmation that the mark on Slater's is actually a tooth mark? Seems odd that with a mouth guard that there is 1 mark as opposed to a row of teeth. Just saying it does leave it open without confirmation for debate.
