“Wests Tigers has collaborated with Holsworthy Army Barracks, who have sighted and approved all collateral relating to the release of this jersey,” it read.

Plus the NRL approved it, apparently.
So someone noticed it, they noticed that it was not a WW1 Australian or New Zealander soldier depicted but in fact a stock standard image available over web thingy.
Remember ANZAC Day is and has been a day of 'celebration' of all people who have fought in major conflicts since WWI. I for one do not believe it is that great a deal.
What it takes is a wannabe Ray Hadley shock jock in Mark Levy to call for heads to roll. This 30 something with all of life's experience just loves to get on his high horse and knock, when he can just to enhance ratings.
Did he in turn get stuck into those who collaborated from Holsworthy Army Barracks, who sighted and approved all collateral relating to the release of the jersey?
Did he in turn get stuck into those within NRL Licensing who approved the final design?
When a club is at rock bottom, it can only go up.
