How much of this are we prepared to take?

Due to the fact that part of the error comes from the Army which approved the photos, I really don't think it should be taken as an insult. Wests Tigers did try to follow a respectful process by consulting with the army in regard to the jerseys. They are not military experts, therefore consulted the people who are.

An error yes.....and error born from disrespect? no.

I reckon we should have specified that we needed an Australian and/or New Zealand depiction.

It should have been caught when the Army people allegedly gave it their blessing.

And it should quite properly have been an image from ANZAC cove, of which there are hundreds or thousands available from the period.

And perhaps some tribute to peace as well. That’s what my ancestors fought and died in battle for.

The club can blame the army all it wants, but I’m not wearing it. We had numerous opportunities to pick it up.

Anyone who knows an Australian soldier, they know they are passionate about their standing in the annuls of world militarism. They stand tall as do our NZ brethren. They deserve the best.

It’s not wrong to honour American soldiers either, just so I am fair. We owe them a lot too.

But if I’m running the club, the dodgy jerseys should be donated to the US embassy or our beloved volunteers and new ones commissioned.

Looks they are changing, Fox haven’t run the story yet, surprising as they just love kicking us when we are down, so can’t post it. Power to the press.

Will be interesting what the clubs take on it will be and if they throw someone (guess who) under a bus?

Tbh It should never have happened.

It’s another forgettable episode in club history brought to us by an incompetent board.

They can “ intend” this and that, but the fact of the matter is that they haven’t got a clue.

They can run along and “intend” to do something good somewhere else.

I hope the press smashes the board into oblivion.

Another reason for players to avoid signing for us.

Heroes and Patriots

I think we should we have the Wests Tigers Action Group depicted on a jersey at some stage of the season
hopefully gets some traction and is shown by Fox Sports. We have too many braindead fans unfortunately. So many people on WTForum, Facebook comments still defending Brooks and Pascoe etc. Not sure if real or from the wests tigers troll farm at this point

Yep, which foreign country are the soldiers going to be from this time?

Have Lee hanging out of a chopper firing napalm into villages

Colonel Brooks from F Troop

While they're designing jerseys with an American theme how about the standard strip with SNAFU written all over the front and back. And on the shorts and socks. They could wear it every week with confidence it will accurately describe the club, both on and off the field.

Not an error from disrespect 100% . But 100% and error from an amateur administration . This joint is forking out millions on x players/ hanger on's and 5c on unqualified kids manning the show .. they aren't even smart enough to realise the front office is dog shit , the very 1st rule in business is to at least get that part correct.
Don't start me on membership , anyone that has dealt with them can see it.

It starts in the board room. The Balmain vs Wests debate should be long dead and buried, yet dinosaurs still carry on with that. Those dinosaurs occupy every seat on our board. Whilst other clubs discuss winning titles in their board meetings, sadly ours is a dick measuring competition about a completely irrelevant debate.

Even in 2050 we will have board members who were born after the merge happened who have been appointed because they can pick a side.
