Good point, I didn't think of that, it's just the way Politis operates, they're throwing half their roster out the door. Hunt will probably end up signing for the chooks for about half of what he's on at the dragons, the rest will be under the table.

Roosters name is thrown in by Hooper as another suitor for Hunt and apparently Hunt wants to pay 150k to compensate Dragons . Knowing that eventually our club has to do a deal, if it is Roosters then we should get Sam Walker. Hunt going there will be the end of Sam Walker. Lets swap them and then Hunt can throw in $150k compensation.

When it was muted that Hook only had a few weeks to convince the Board to keep him on otherwise Hook was a gonner, Hunt gave an interview basically giving his whole support for Hook to remain as the coach of the Dragons and saying that if he goes it would mean Hujnt starting all over again with a new coach and he was of the age that he didn't want to start again with another coach. What the bloody hell will he be doing when he ultimately leaves us? Is Hook going to be at the other club he is going to end up at? I don't think so Benny, you will have to start all over again - fitting in with the new players (who would know that you are a deadset traitor), learning the new systems, getting to know the new coach, getting to know the new management. I just hope a few journalists take the st george viewpoint and mention how unprofessional and selfish young benny is by demanding an instant release and is happy to leave the club in the poo ... Further he is captain gets the big bucks and its been mentioned that he hasnt got an issue with playing group rather our management team .. So he loves the boys BUT Ive just been offered 900k for the next 2 years ( which could be the same we agreed on who knows) so im outta here best of luck with the wooden spoon .. This is where Id love reporters to attack him as it really says a lot about his integrity .. And the NRL should deregister his manager for brokering a new deal , there wont be a paperwork trail but it sounds like a deal has been done , and a hefty fine for the team he signs with and a transfer fee for us
