Even if the club manages to keep him. How could we ever support him again. Just like tallis
This is bigger than Ben Hunt, this is about another NRL franchise, thinking they can do what ever they want, the NRL is a basket case, a shambles, not St George, as James Hooper puts it, this is disgusting behaviour.
You know what, the St George Dragons is the biggest and best brand of all times, suck on that suckers, the Sydney Chicken Rorters only wish, you know uncle Nick you can't take it with you when you cark it!

When it was muted that Hook only had a few weeks to convince the Board to keep him on otherwise Hook was a gonner, Hunt gave an interview basically giving his whole support for Hook to remain as the coach of the Dragons and saying that if he goes it would mean Hujnt starting all over again with a new coach and he was of the age that he didn't want to start again with another coach. What the bloody hell will he be doing when he ultimately leaves us? Is Hook going to be at the other club he is going to end up at? I don't think so Benny, you will have to start all over again - fitting in with the new players (who would know that you are a deadset traitor), learning the new systems, getting to know the new coach, getting to know the new management. Not wanting to start over again my big fat arse you lying creep.
Come on @Dragon David. Don't be shy. Tell us what you really think.

I never want to see Hunt wear the Red V ever again unless it's in NSW Cup. He will leave this club as a traitor and one of the most hated. He has handlded this situation in an appalling manner. Gutless and selfish. Behind the back of his teammates. Awful from a so called club captain. A complete dog act. His so-called reasons are pathetic. In all my years of supporting this club and have never looked back with disgust at one of our ex-players. Hunt will be different. Enjoy missing the finals at Titans or Bulldogs. I expect when either Holbrook or Ciraldo get sacked you carry on like the petulant whinger you are and ask to be released. Your behaviour reflects so poorly on your character and behaviour. If you hate this club so much, why did you re-sign 6 months ago?
F**k off Ben C**nt.
If you ever step foot onto Kogarah Oval or Wollongong Sportsground again, you deserve whatever is coming your way.
If he leaves under these circumstances, he'll be on the pedestal of traitors with Tallis and Reddy. Is it a co-incidence that they're all Queenslanders? Probably, because we've had some great clubmen who are Queenslanders, like the Coyne brothers, Wally Fullerton-Smith, and Wayne Bartrim. I'm sure there are others.

Rocket Rod Reddy was a true legend of a player & did us a favour in not taking up the coaching role as it delivered us David Waite.

We can’t. The situation’s untenable. Personally, it doesn’t faze me that he’s going as he’s not the player that’s going to deliver us a premiership anyway. Yes, we’ve had shit coaches and a dysfunctional BOD who could’ve surrounded him with a better roster but even then, to win a comp you need a champion half and he’ll never be that.
The thing that irks me the most in all this is the way he’s gone about it. As the club captain he should have met with the club’s management and stated his intentions privately and honourably and leave at the end of this season. Instead, he waits until he’s surrounded by his backslapping team mates up north and airs it all publicly dragging the club that’s set him up for life through the coals once again. I’m ashamed we ever named this bloke as captain of our great club.
All eyes on Webb and BOD on how they will handle the situation as the blow torch is well and truly on them right now.
