So we keep him in the NRL as our captain so he can play the way he did and blocking some other halves combo we may want to trial. I agree with maybe trying to get something for him but for christ sake at least put him in rezzies. I dont care put Herring in there or Turner with Sullivan at 7, we cant continue on this massive spiral and not do anything. Now is the time to really find out what we have under proper game conditions.

I say we should sign Kyle Flannagan to back up Sullivan. I am not sure if he is first-grade material as yet.

As a fan and as much as is despises me St George getting the Wooden spoon, losing by massive scores, he should suffer the consequences as the main contributor of this.
Unless a like for like swap is on the table we can all suffer together!

I have a feeling Hunt will somehow come down with a mysterious injury from Origin 3. I doubt he will play for us again.

The fact we hold the cards for his contract, then negotiating a preferred swap deal is paramount, nit the deal we want equals no Hunt. A lot of names can be thrown around but in reality it's a like for like scenario. Not in terms of playing position, but a rep player of the same or equal standard. However, I would be happy with Fotuaika and Khan-Periera as a slightly lesser deal.

As far as captain, JDB is busting his gut and leading by example, so he is an obvious choice. Giving it to Lomax may make him 'wake-up' to his responsibilities, but DeBelin is the #1 choice.

I would be happy if he is stood down or put in reggies but under no circumstance let him off the hook and go. His fault for pushing the Hook agenda which has landed us in deep poo.

End of the year get some huge compensation and appropriate trades that will benefit the dragons and Shane Flanagan. Then he can go sook somewhere else and earn too much money there.

If Saints continue to pick him and as captain, then Saints can say he is a part of the team and demand some form of compo. Tough situation he has put Saints under.

I can't believe he is captain. Saints can still pick him and demand him at hooker. He can play half next year at another club. Let him do 50+ tackles a game, what should we care. If he gets to the end of the season all busted then that is the other teams problem. Give Sullivan a good run at half where he can control the play for the remaining games with Amone at 6 seeing they will be the potential future halves. Why put a guy in the 7 that won't be part of the future. It is not as if Saints will make the 8 and they can not get any worse. Liddle can be 14th man if Hunt tires.

yeh.. no. I l;ike Liddle at 9 I think he has some potential and has been relatively injury free this year
as long as he runs more instead of being a distributor to Hunt which could be what he is told to do
