I love Hindy as much as anyone, but towards the end of his career, he was a big contributor to our poor attitude and results IMO. He wasn't a captain's arsehole, no matter how inspirational he was.

I love Hindy, but I think his cranky demeanor didn't help - he was always angry and didn't really lead.

He was a great player, but he wasn't a captain, and I think forcing him to captain the side (when he didn't want to captain the side by his own admission) was a mistake.

It was hardly tonight that will cost us a spot in the 8, having 6 to 7 first graders out and trotting out a side with no experience and blokes playing out of position is hardly the fault of the coach or hayne What would have playing him achieved out there??? Sometimes you can't help bad luck.
