I cant believe it but i hate Hayne!!!

I've said it in other threads but with the title of this one being about hating Hayne, I guess I'll say it here, too.

I don't hate him. I wish him all the best in what is a f**king gutsy move.

I don't hate him because something like this (general abandonment, not NFL) was what I expected to happen at some point.

The reason there's so much butthurt is because you've all been shown to be fools, and when people's stupidity is revealed they often get defensive and blame the revealer.

We'll have another ridiculously talented player come along at some point...tomorrow...five years...twenty years from now...and when we do, you all need to remember what happened with Hayne.

Hero worship is for children. You should all learn your lesson and grow up.

Very similar to when people started to (eventually) realise that Spags/3P were just a bunch of boardroom cowboys rather than saviours.

Unfortunately all true.

Lalalalalalala I can't hear you!

Yes, it's true. All of it.

And as stupid as it is, I was getting over his abandonment of this club - until he started belittling our code and dropping hints that he wasn't focussed on the Eels for years.

Now I'm angry rather than sad/disappointed.

lmao at the word "Abandoned",acting like Hayne was your father and he dumped you in a basket on Wazn's door step, being a fan doesn't mean you own the players,be thankful he entertained you for 9 years in your boring life's.

I said he abandoned the club - he was contracted for next year and walked out.

If your literacy levels were up to par, you'd also know I bear no ill will towards him for leaving, but rather for the way he's carrying on and denigrating the sport.

He's an adult, and he can do what he likes - but he's shown he has no class with his attitude towards this club and the code.

Lastly - I wouldn't go around making comments about "bored loves" and Hayne being my father of I were you. Out of the two of us, you're the one who had a username with his name in it, so if anyone was going to gobble up his jizz, it'd be you, friend. Bottoms up!

When has he belittled the code?

He did an interview on a radio show and claimed that all NFL stars would easily make the transition to rugby league, and that professional training in rugby league sucks compared to the NFL.

The way he speaks, he's trying to cut all ties with league. Is he right? I don't know.

But coming out and stating that sort of thing after what transpired is very selfish and egocentric.

lol how is it egocentric to say that NFL players could easily do someone that he has done his whole life? That sounds like modesty not egocentricity

This is 100% correct so what's the problem? Everyone knows that even pee wee football teams in America have better training facilities than our NRL clubs

This is right.
Professional training in the NRL does suck compared to the NFL.
They can spend millions more on their training regimes. More money equals better training.
I haven't taken anything Hayne has said as "belittling" the code. More just talking up his new challenge.

I reckon those that hate Hayne are just envious that he was able to rise up to the top of our nation's best sport at such a young age and now has the opportunity to be able to make it in one of the the harshest sporting environments in the world. Most people can barely get past Under 13's.

Hayne will always have a place at Parramatta, the highlights he provided and the way he carried this team was remarkable at times. It's a shame he's moved on and I suggest that most people should be doing the same.

I don't hate JH, but I've lost all respect for him. Not because he left, or coz he has ambition.....that's all cool. It's coz he left in such a way as to make it hard for the club to adjust their roster when he left. That's not the behaviour of anyone deserving of respect.

Not Hayne's fault the club spent like 250k on the useless Justin Hunt,450k on the useless Darcy Lussick,800k on the useless Hoppa, brought in the useless Reece Robinson, Beau Champion and Corey Norman, not Hayne's fault the club has no decent juniors coming through, not Hayne's fault the club doesn't wanna spend money on a replacement and use the useless Hoppa

Club's fault there in this position

How is any of that relevant to the fact that Hayne walked out mid-contract, with frig all notice?

It's not Hayne's fault that they shut down the Harold Park trotting track either....it's just irrelevant to the assessment of the decency of his behaviour.
