Smithy would have been so torn last night.

Almost feels like we have won already seeing the Poms back to there usual embarrassment showings at ODI WC.

As much as this was a masterful display by Maxwell I can't help but feel that it masks over an underlying issue with our overall batting of late. Too much hit or miss for my liking.

Yep I think we beat perennial chokers in South Africa in the semis.

Its a huge issue. We just cant produce batsmen. The Kiwi Ravinda (sp) is the types we should be producing. That kid is spectacular.

Yep. There’s a difference between a team digging themselves out of a hole as opposed to one merkin playing a lifetime innings. Kudos to woke Cummins though for playing his part.

He gets criticised a lot, and rightly so - but that is the greatest ODI innings I've ever seen.

Under enormous pressure, he literally won the game on his own.

Because Carey had been worse. Bit rough to not blood Ingis for two years and when he was in great form yet they throw him in at a World Cup. Great foresight from the drongos running the show. Very Parraesque.
