I agree. There is no mongrel in the team as a whole. We're a team of ageing stars combined with a few who are out of their depth. Cummings as captain, while talented, isn't a leader when the chips are down.

This loss will hopefully be the wake up call for Aussie test cricket going forward. No team enjoys being flogged like a convict fresh off the ship. Take a look at today's crowd in the stands. India deserve this win in spades and good luck to them.

It wouldn't matter who the captain was, we have a shortage of batsmen. Our fast bowling stocks are good but our top 6 batsmen are in terrible form and we've got no one in shield putting any pressure on them
