You're a fool! At the SFS, if it rains, you will get wet if you are in the front level, unless you are right at the back!

Souths get larger attendances than Easts! What is good enough for Easts, is beneath Souths! :)

Brilliant post.

Top work once again alien.

Truth telling at its best here.

The SFS bashing is clearly a dickhead souffs fan having a whinge because it's the Roosters home ground.

Also LOLed at the 'great atmosphere' comment by Rabbits20 when he's 'on the first level' at ANZ.

You may not be a joke poster (as worrying as that is) but everything you have posted is one big joke.

Alien is still a traitorous butt-hole.

I don't give a toss what you think!!!!

I'm a truth teller!!!

I much rather ANZ.

Nothing to do with just as it's the Roosters home ground.

Did you type that with a straight face?

I'm not talking about GA here. Well from 10m line to the other 10m line on level 1 there are not many spare seats. The crowd is usually about 14-15k. Obviously only levels 1 and 2 are opened.

The Western Side of the ground is usually very full. Aisles 126-134.

A guy last season who I knew wanted the Western Side and could only get 15m from the tryline as all the others were full. He had been a supporter member for many years before this.

On the Eastern side 104 doesn't get many. But 105,106,107,108 are pretty full. 109, 110 and 111 get packed out.

I know as I've been a ticketed member since 2010.

Thanks for sharing.

Look Pommy mate, here is truth. A lot more than 10,000:)

Sorry I come from somewhere that even after 40+ years of total abject failure still sells 50,000 tickets every week. They also charge you a hell of a lot more for the privelidge as well. If you think 16,000 is a lot more than 10,000 we have very different views on the matter.
Your not a truth teller you just have lower expectations.
I wasn't a ticketed member last season as I came over in May. Although I did go to every home and away game in Sydney after the move. I am a ticketed member for this coming season.

Oh and even though I wasn't ticketed I did sit in the Burrow for almost all the home games I went to.

I am a truth teller. I say it as it is. You are a truth teller too.

Obviously I'd like more at games too.

Hopefully the fact Sam is back pushes our crowd figures up even more.

Our views are different but that's fine. All good to discuss our points:)

alien/r20 deadset worst LU sockpuppet combo ever. At least alien keeps his garbage to one post though...

long live St. Brett, a hero amongst men, a man who mimics shoving a game cartridge up his ass for our entertainment. Why am I not surprised Alien knows him?

Souffs home crowds by game.

R2 Roosters Sunday 27,289
R3 Tigers Sunday 23,211
R6 Cowboys Monday 12,866
R8 Raiders Sunday Barlow 8713
R9 Dragons Monday 14,126
R11 Eels Friday 11,658
R13 Warriors Saturday Perth 20,727
R16 Manly Friday 14,326
R20 Knights Saturday 14,603
R22 Panthers Sunday 13,391
R24 Dogs Friday 26,503
R25 Broncos Thursday Allianz 12,036*

So the overall average is 16,613.

By applying the logic of souffs fans to chooks crowds where you remove from the average those games with large away support from Sydney rivals, souffs crowds start looking a little sick.

If the Roosters, Dogs and Tigers games are removed their average drops to about 13,000 per game which looks about right looking at the other games.

So effectively only 1 in 3 of their members attend games regularly. Maybe the reason no one gets wet.

They should lobby Anz to allow pets to games.

I agree with what you say and have said before nobody has bragging rights about NRL attendances.
What are the figures for Roosters with the big Sydney followings removed?

Exactly my point. I do think Souths fans tend to exaggerate more than others.

Here are chooks numbers. Not great but consistent with memberships and certainly higher or on par with others who like to bag us.

R3 Panthers Monday 10,735
R4 Raiders Sunday 9,582
R5 Sharks Easter Sunday 12,004
R8 Dragons Saturday 35,110
R9 Tigers Friday 14,336
R12 Storm Monday 8,265
R16 Titans Sunday Gosford 12,569
R19 Warriors Sunday 16,301
R21 Dogs Friday 13,589
R23 Eels Saturday 11,255
R24 Broncos Saturday 19,137
R26 Souths Friday 25,019

Overall average is 15,661.

We had 2 big Sydney derbies, Dragons on Anzac Day and Souths last Round. If you remove those 2 games we average 12,780.

So approximately 80% of members attend regularly.

souths home attendance ave:
2015: 16,613
2014: 19,888
2013: 22,261
2012: 18,904

easts home attendance ave:
2015: 15,661
2014: 14,102
2013: 19,368
2012: 12,482

bigger ave 4 years in a row and you are blaming it on who the teams play against! yeah right!

like i've said a million times before on here, a lot of souths members have non-ticketed memberships or interstate memberships because a lot of members don't live in sydney, and pet memberships are not included in the membership number
