Starc is like Mitch Johnson at his best he is impossible to play against and unstoppable.

But at his worst he is horrid and grade cricket quality.

Starc had taken at least 1 wicket in his first 23 world cup matches. The player of the tournament in 2015 and very good in 2019.

Has been pretty horrid here but we haven't had any young players come through so that he doesn't have to be the leading man.

Starc is also the attacking bowler. You want him bowling full, looking for swing and yorkers. He's had a super poor WC by his standards but he's also always gonna go for more than others unless he rips through some Merkins.

Johnson was the same. Lee as well. Blokes looking for wickets are always gonna cop a bit more stick than a metronome.

Starc could easily go through India if he's on too. It just looks pretty unlikely on form

If Australia win tomorrow and we can't come lower then 3rd.

Maybe we can just forfeit and give them the 2 points like we refuse to play Bangladesh in any bilateral series so why not do the same in the WC.

If it pans out that Australia win tomorrow night.

Australia funnily enough have more incentive to lose on Saturday then win because of England potential fight to get in the champions trophy.

Wouldn't he have noticed it when he picked it up.

Look i think they should have withdrawn the appeal. But it's a warning to the batsman who fart arse around getting out there stuffing around.

I suppose at end of the day fielding sides are being punished for slow over rates. And the batsman are just as guilty slowing the game down changing gloves every 2nd over.

This win streak would have to piling the pressure on India, especially playing at home. I like the the way India go about their cricket and am not a hater. But, geez they are set up for one hell of a fall in the finals. I strongly tip they will somehow choke one of the two big finals games.

I will say that the finals format sucks. It should be 1 v 2 with the losing team having the second bite of the cherry. It would be a very raw deal if India lose their semi.

Yeah it’s a shit look and really doesn’t come across as being in the spirit of the game. I imagine we’ll hear a lot more about it in coming days.

I honestly thought the timed out occurs if the batter doesnt turn up on the field, if he had a dodgy helmet send someone else out there
