So basically South Africa are just normal then.SA are sooooo reliant on DeKok.
Indeed. Anyone who took the $10 on Netherlands is feeling smugger than a Penrith fan right about now.My dude....
The last 12 months has been great for the game of cricket and its growth. We are starting to see more associates beat some of these established test playing nations and be more competitive.I think its great for cricket to see teams like the Netherlands win a WC game over an established team like RSA
Either international 50 over or 20/20 cricket needs to goThe last 12 months has been great for the game of cricket and its growth. We are starting to see more associates beat some of these established test playing nations and be more competitive.
Franchise T20 cricket is still the big worry and IPL diluting the international schedule further by expanding bigger into a 2-3 month comp.
I recall Namibia beat Sri Lanka in the T20WC last year.
Netherlands beat South Africa also in that world cup and again last night.
Afghanistan have the most potential but unfortunately the political landscape means they may never fulfill there potential.
Its a shame countries like Australia just treat most of them like a piece of shit and only worried about there own pockets. Look at the way we treat countries like Bangladesh and refuse to play them at any cost. How are they going to improve & get better if they don't play quality cricketers.
The "crowds" this world cup say otherwiseUnfortunately, what will go is tests. I can see everyone bar Australia, England and India playing only 3 to 6 tests a year by 2030.
The 50 over game will stay because it remains unbelievably popular in India.
Indians are going to watch India play. And seeing there's 1.4 billion Indians their board has a lot of sway. The "crowds" this world cup say otherwise
Yeah I know but I honestly thought the stadiums would be fullIndians are going to watch India play. And seeing there's 1.4 billion Indians their board has a lot of sway.
People say India is cricket mad. Its fairer to say they're mad about Team India.Yeah I know but I honestly thought the stadiums would be full
As long as our board continues to suckle on the Teat of India everything will be fine and they and the players can virtue signal to their hearts content. The last 12 months has been great for the game of cricket and its growth. The Grade cricketer were talking about it earlier this year when the tests were on.People say India is cricket mad. Its fairer to say they're mad about Team India.
A nation of dumbmerkinsThe Grade cricketer were talking about it earlier this year when the tests were on.
Its just all IPL mad over there now.
I think we realise its big but i think for some fans over there its IPL first priority now with passion and support like for us in the NRL before the national team.

Yeah I know but propaganda wise surely they could fill the grounds with kidsIt's all the poor bastards can afford to attend. They have to basically be slaves the other 164 hours of the week unless they're already in a rich caste
