I heard BR on the ABC News late this afternoon stating that Phlennough will be the coach of the Sharks in 2019. No question about it.

It was not the usual death notice of the coach has the full support of the board type of thang, it was, "he is our coach and will be next season."

Sheesh... Didnt Carney get payout for unfair dismissal after his idiotic behavior? Now we have people being pedantic over terms of an NRL Sanction. Surely Answering a phone from People at the club (not known criminals ) is not a criminal offence. Absolutely rediculous!

Shaggs that is what had me glued to every word of Barrys interview. I was waiting for the deathwish term, "Flanno has the full support of the board". It never eventuated. It didn't even get near the starting line.

This was never mentioned in the interview / statement. It was a definate "Flanno will be coaching the Sharks in 2019!!!" ..... "He is contracted for 2019 and will be our Coach here" ...

To me, Barry sounded a bit aggro in his comments.
