grothe is good, hes defence is horrible but he makes up in attack. He needs work on his defence, he comes out of the line too often and always throws haymakers.

What was with the switch from the Dogs game? Eric was with Joel and Taulima with Inu, against the warriors it was Eric with Hayne and Taulima with Joel.......

the Canterbury game was quite simple, Hages put them together because towered over Utai and Wintana, they didn't quite have that luxery against the Warriors.

you just cant blame 1 player for what happend over in NZ, just goes to show that the week before we were ordinary and we didnt really improve in week 2.

No excuses on the loss we were bad in the ball control area and in our choices, its a good wake up call for the players.

Most teams have a 1 2 punch ...

I think on sunday we were 1 dimensional to predictable and it was easy for them to control us.

when they throw the ball around the way they do, they are a hard side to play against.

With Timmy and Finchy in the team together we have more options add in Mateo, Pig and Keating then Burty from the back sniffing around we are def going to be a better side this week.

yes, but it was still broken, and a new centre coming here. who did haybe partner in the trials? I imagine given he came in and partnered Grothe, the pre-season was structuired around that?

I was unable to attend a trial this year, but I know Grothe only played one of them, so one trial and one actual game.... that doesnt say to me that the pre-season was structured around them being together
