The Melbourne Rebels were and still are much worse performing then the Force in all metrics and were the obvious candidate to be cut.

The ARU inexplicably kept them in cut the Force however
Apparently not if you believe some here.

Don’t lecture me about history mate. You’re so anti Perth you are starting to repeat and believe your own crap. A token team in Melbourne? That sums up just how narrow your vision is. By the way it’s 2023. The lesson of history is to learn about how to do things better. Not hide like a coward because things didn’t go right first time. You and your Sydney mates are a pack of gutless cowards imho.
But don’t you support a Sydney club ? Or was that just make believe

Places where league is stronger will have more sponsors to jump on board

you can’t just rely on the generous club grant to fund a bad club

we don’t want to be like afl

I think it’s more to do with the size of the population and economics of the area. For example you should be able to find more sponsors in Perth or Melbourne than you would in Newcastle, Canberra or Wollongong for example (Btw I live in Newcastle and go for Canberra so I am definitely not having a go at those areas but I am just being realistic)

Yeh that’s fair

and since Perth only has two afl teams the market isn’t flooded

I still think their best chance at stability is with the bears (money and juniors)

there’s also the issue which nobody has thought about is what impact they have on the storm

they will be looking for players the same places the storm are which will be detrimental to the storm

What money do the Bears have? f**k all from what I can see.

They will be competing with 17 other NRL teams in recruitment, not just the Storm.

Auckland collapsed and a millionaire had to save them. Sorry, no NZ. Crushers collapsed too, no B3.
Auckland were deemed viabale by news ltd

Perth and the bears weren’t

the dolphins have 100 million in assets think they might be ok
