I was very vocal about killing off the City v Country farce and am very happy it has been deleted.

It's nothing more than a celebration for the indigenous, as a game of rugby league it is quickly turning into a one-sided event, obviously the indigenous people are right behind it and why wouldn't they be but who exactly are the "all-stars" representing?

I agree with your comment about the game being for the indigenous. Nothing wrong with that. However, they do need to put some quality opposition up against them or it will quickly lose its appeal, if it hasn't already.

This is despite the Heatwave Temperatures, Lack of Stars in the world all-stars and lack of promotion from the nrl.
Imagine if they put more effort into it.
Bring back the Fan Vote so neutrals have a stake in the game, and the stars have an obligation to play (the fans want you there)
Scrap the 9s. 'The lack of stars' line obviously doesn't mean much, the allstars was also lacking stars yet people still watched. The 9s is a boring concept. The whole 'it's a way to expand the game, bring in new fans etc' obviously isn't true.
With the 9s scrapped it means the stars aren't spread across 2 events plus trials plus wcc.

Should be the maoris v indigenous. Both teams would have something to play for and would be almost like a test match. Play every second game across the dutch.

There is nothing about this game that is racist, some people are so politically correct that they do not actually understand what it is they are talking about.

It is not racism to identify and group people by race, it only becomes racism when you do it in the belief you are superior based on your race and use that to discriminate against people.

Under the understanding of some of the social defenders on here selection of every national team would be racist, which we all know is simply stupid.

f**k political correctness - just put a decent game of footy on. Piss the gimmicks and exhibitions off. Why the f**k do we need an exhibition game for anyway??? The sport has been played here for over a hundred years. We all know what it is. And if you don't, just turn the tele on, use your phone or attend a game and have a look.

You can watch all the players every week from R1 to the GF, playing in the best comp in the world and all easily accessible.
