It's a classification, race is just a classification. Using that classification is not racism, allowing people to group themselves under that classification is not racism, sporting teams selected on that classification is not racism, its not racism until race is used to put down, act superior to, disadvantage or exclude causing disadvantage.

just a left field thought, but most gripe seems to be around who the indigenous team plays, so maybe instead of creating a gimmick team like the world all stars, they could open the season by playing the reigning premiers , or minor premiers if the wcc continues. Keeps all of the community work, gives the premiers a quality pre-season game, and provides a team that at least has some support and attachment to oppose the indigenous team.

What a joke of a fixture. It was a training run for the indigenous players. Who the f**k thought that "World" team was going to get anywhere near them?

f**k political correctness - just put a decent game of footy on. Piss the gimmicks and exhibitions off. Why the f**k do we need an exhibition game for anyway??? The sport has been played here for over a hundred years. We all know what it is. And if you don't, just turn the tele on, use your phone or attend a game and have a look.

You can watch all the players every week from R1 to the GF, playing in the best comp in the world and all easily accessible.

You don't mind if I record and watch ESL in my spare time or continue to look forward to the 9's, Indigenous and anything else RL related outside the box do you ol' mate . . . I'd like your blessing
