I imagine all of Ma'u, Hopoate, Peats, Sio Mossop would be in our top 17. And the first 3 being part of our top 5 or 6 players....

That's a heavy toll!

10 weeks for Ma'u means he might sneak back for finals footy. Hopefully Hoppa is back after the bye, along with Sio and Mossop - we need those guys on the paddock.

Had a chat to someone at the club yesterday who was telling me Hoppa is looking likely to play this week, but a decision will be made Sunday morning.

Realistically I think we are better off giving him the week off to recover fully with the bye next week.

Kelepi was 19th man on the weekend.

Hopefully there isn't much to it.

Also, i don't know the extent of his injury but Mossop seems to be moving freely with his bung shoulder. Hopefully he is back soon.

As the Dyldam Parramatta Eels prepare to face the New Zealand Warriors in Round 18 there are a few changes to the Eels injury update:

Tim Mannah has been ruled out of this week's match with a shoulder injury, and is likely to miss up to 3 matches.

Justin Hunt will return to the field for the Wentworthville Magpies this week after missing five weeks of competition.

Will Hopoate remains sidelined with the shoulder injury picked up in Origin II (return date TBC)

Lee Mossop's left shoulder injury sustained in Melbourne in Round 15 will see him out for the rest of the 2014 season.

Manu Ma'u continues his recovery for a fractured left forearm and may miss another 8 weeks of competition, while Nathan Peats continues rehabiliation for an ACL injury that will see him miss the rest of the NRL season.

NYC hooker Kaysa Pritchard remains sidelined with a shoulder injury (return date yet to be confirmed).

And yet the refs and MRC all missed the chicken wing which presumably caused Mannah's injury at the start of the Knights game. #OPSM
