If he goes, I hope it is to Canberra and not a Club like Storm, Warriors, Bulldogs Newcastle or Dragons.
His talents would fit in nicely at Raiders and he would be appreciated down there, that's for sure.
Don't know how he would cope with the cold weather.
He probably would be better off doing his Church duties for the next two seasons and coming back to replace Luke Burt or Timana Tahu.....in 2013...OR doesn't he have to be a missionary any more - was that just paper talk before he signed his new contract..

Perhaps he donates 10% of his money to the church so they have seen its in the best intrests for him to continue playing footy on big $$$:sarcasm:

Sorry Kris but I'd rather spend your contract $$ on a decent young pig who can bend the line.

yep! it pains me to say it but life does go on and we need to concentrate in areas that are hurting us and that's upfront.

But is he more valuable than, say, Reddy? Reddy's form this year has been horrendous - Inu has been great.

Utility - well, they can both play anywhere in the backline. But Inu is a damn good goal-kicker.

I'm a fan of Reddy's, and I see we need grunt up front. But I'd hate to see Inu go.

He has had one bad game. But other than that his form has been quite solid.Horrendous i dont think so.

well reddy is under contract for next season, infact both our sterting centres in the first 5 weeks are under contract and unfortunately INU is not in a bargaining position that would suit him as a back up outside back.

Ok, maybe not quite horrendous. But I believe he is below Inu based on 2010 performances thus far.

I understand we can't keep everyone. But it'll be a shame to see him leave.

Good point. Didn't think of that.

But what if he takes Reddy's spot while he's suspended and simply plays his best ever footy - so much so that he forces Reddy to the bench or something?

It's a gamble, I know. But with the prospect of losing Grothe as well...

if that happans than DA and Ossie have some serious work to do try and sort this out. as I said in an earlier thread, it's a shame that he's not opposing Champion on sunday or else that could of answered alot questions. that Beau Champion is in seriously rare form atm.

Lord have mercy! Not only have the few posters who want KK in halfback have lost it but the club itself is about to implode.

We signing up overrated players like the Keating brothers while let go of our most talented players. Tragic.

Luckily Morts has finally been given the halfback position so now we all wait for the GreatOne Mateo to take his place as 5/8th. The jigsaw puzzle is almost complete.

Hopefully The Chosen One can convince the club to keep Inu.... afterall they are best mates. His a future player for us when Grothe and Burt retire.

We dont seem to hear anything about Grothe for some strange reason. I dont think Inu is playing badly at all, neither is Grothe. Infact our backline is playing at an acceptable level at the moment (most of the time).

Seeing as we only pay $120K for wingers (apparently) offer that money to Grothe and Inu and the first to take the bite wins, loser leaves.

Id be happy to keep both, I wouldnt mind losing one. But we do need one and I see Inu as a better investment seeing as he would be a great replacement for Tahu in a few years. 2 years Krisnan, on the wing, this is your pay, prove to us that your the man to replace Tahu....again.

he's been one of our better players so far this year, yet another one we let go who will go onto bigger and better things because we seem to make far too many of these bad decisions

the kid is what 22 years old, worth about 175K or there abouts, we wont get better value than that with his $$$$$ imo

and whats Reddy worth ?

I agree Twizzle. I would keep Inu before Grothe is there is a choice also. Grothes positional game in defence has let us down time and again. He is getting on where Kris is coming into his prime (now 23). I reckon it would be easier to get Kris at a cheaper price than Grothe. This year Kris has been the form back. And knowing Kris, we need players with good moral values, decent people.

Opinions?

Only a wing spot, that could be filled by Jono Wright, Etu, Tim Mortimer, Lasalo or Dom Nasso, who have all been pretty damn good for Wenty

Theyd better be good defensively, we cant afford both wings to be weak.
Reddy is always covering for Grothe.

Ken Sio is dope man, i really like the look of him.

Let Inu go , at the end of the day he is replaceable.

Yeah even Hindy is replaceable, but you need quality to replace them. Guys who play well in NYC dont automatically play well in NRL, its very different. Be careful what you wish for.

You could be right however I reckon Ashley Graham showed as much potential before his horrific injury.

Inu just does not have enough pace to excite me these days.

I remember watching a back who played for Parra, and he was probably one of the slowest footballers I have seen before and since. He was also a highly rated goal kicker.
His name?

Michael Cronin.....

Its not all about speed. Look at Justin Hodges, even Joel Reddy. But they are quality players.

Hope Krisnan goes to the Raiders..They were keen on him last season when he was 'offered' to the Club.
He would fit in well next to Jarrod Croker, allowing Joel Thommo to move back to the forwards.

I've heard that there's actually a fairly decent chance of this happening, although the Raiders can't, nor would they want to, compete with the Warriors for dollars.

IMO Inu is lazy & needs to be cut loose.

Go watch the Storm's 2nd try in the 2009 GF, Blair runs straight past Inu as he backs up Cronk.

Inu has about eight seasons of first grade ahead of him. Grothe has maybe two at best as does Luke Burt. So why would we get rid of Inu?

We know we probably won't keep Mateo because he isn't worth 400K and he's kind of surplus to requirements.

So why don't we lose Cayless, Grothe and Mateo and buy a halfback (Hodkinson) a prop or two and retain Inu?

We have made a habit of letting players go too early. We let Ryan go in 2002. We offered him only a two-year contract when he wanted three years. He went on to play another eight years of first grade. We let Ian Hindmarsh go and he played four good seasons before coming home. PJ Marsh had a sensational 2002 and would've gone on but for the neck injury. Jason Cayless ..... Chad Robinson .... Shicofske, Hodgson,Tonga..... The list is a bit too long and depressing. We need to start thinking beyond our immediate needs and try to see a season or two in advance.

Where Inu is concerned a back who can play centre, wing, fullback and kick goals is kind of hard to come by. He's also a great ambassador for the club.

I mean I know he's no Jeff Robson ... but he goes alright!!!
