We don't really know the financial side of it, so I find it kind of hard to criticise the club based on speculation about the money involved.
I do criticise our lack of depth in the outside backs though...
What's the bet we end up with Mannering and Brown in the centres, Hurrell on one wing, Godinet on the other, and Tupou at fullback.

As much as I am not an Inu fan particularly, I don't see the merit in doing this halfway through the year.

Well, the irony is that the Dogs are 'injury struck' and 'desperate' for a replacement.

And we bent right over to look after them. However, will we not have the same problem, as early as just in a few weeks? Will someone fly in and help us? No. Not in the NRL anyway. Gotta say I'm losing interest this year. This Inu thing just seems dumb. He would have played again and might have even hit form in a potential final.

He's gone now so I guess I'll just get on with it. What a season though eh? Now he's gone who's going to be scapegoated? Ropati isn't there, Manu's the one right now. He's pissing me off no end. Compare his handling to the other big man Tony Williams last night in Origin. You can't.

Give me my footy prozac.

What a stupid decision, I really hope this doesn't come back to bite us on the ass. I really liked our wing/centre depth with Inu there. I really hope there's more to it than meets the eye.

Now I hope they both make the finals in positions to meet.

Well Canterbury should with thier new strike weapon, and Bluey disrepecting the clubs best fullback.

At least he is playing Mateo better, might be enough.

I agree wholeheartedly with skinner. I think its appropriate the club devulges what exactly is the issue with Krisnan Inu. And frankly, it seems likely there is one given he was dumped by Anderson, and both head coaches at the Warriors. He's a crazy talent, but some of his stuff is utter nonsense.

The merit is the Warriors wanted to weaken their outside backs and strengthen an opposition team.

I'd be interested to know what sort of attitude Krisnan brings to training. As a high profile player he I would imagine is somewhat of a role model to the younger boys at the club. If he's a poor trainer who disrespects the work ethic required then getting him out of the club is a good thing. Its all speculative, but that seems to be the common oil on him.

If he was terrible off the field then I doubt Hasler and the Bulldogs would have been that keen. McClennan must have really disliked him, I think it's another stupid move but tbh I'm glad he's gonna be playing FG elsewhere. There will be some angry fans when Inu is starting for the Dogs and going well.

Was it Bluey who pulled him out of reserve grade to play fullback for the Kiwis??

We better be retaining Omar - and looking to sign a back up winger - we are looking terribly light on wing over now.

Tui must me considered centre back up also.

Man, this club makes some weird calls sometimes...

It would be a good move if its to shore up the likes of Slaimankhel.

They'll probably resign Slaimankhel until 2018 and play him at fullback in the local Auckland club comp because he doesn't want to play another position :sarcasm:

Maybe cap related? Or maybe they were just trying to be nice to Inu. Scurrah was on the radio hinting we will be recruiting an ESL player shortly.

We must be well under our cap. Unless we resigned NoRo for huge $.

I think this is the best way out.
Having a player in the club who is a nice guy and talented, but on the outer with the coach, is disruptive and unsettling.
Better a clean break and get on with the business of winning the next game.
Good luck Inu.

Yeah, I saw that on the Warriors site. So when the Dogs have no injury worries, and we do, can we have him back? Why would we bend over to help out a team that is likely to be in a very similar position to us on the table, for the sake of a few bob? I'm certain they'd still sign him next year, given they've locked him in until 2015.

As for the last post, I doubt it's disruptive or unsettling. As you've said, Inu is a 'nice guy' and I doubt he's causing ructions or making the environment unstable. I don't see why we couldn't have kept him on and kept harmony, unless we're not hearing something.

At the end of the day, it doesn't affect us as long as our outside backs stay fit. It's a big if.

No point in speculating what went wrong there.
He helped us to a grand final last year and has had some good moments on the feild as well as some bad ones.
I wish him luck and hope like hell he doesn't come back to haunt us and we have some ready replacements i.e Dean Bell returns from the UK with some good news.

Scurrah said we are no longer paying Any of Inu's salary. So that has freed up a pretty sweet pile of cash.
