Brad Arthur is doing a respectable job this year and your team is a pleasure to watch. They'd be utter rubbish if Ricky was still there. He is a f**king cancer to any team he coaches. He crushes players confidence and their desire to try. f**k knows how he manages it but he does.

Thank goodness he left Parra. Its great seeing you score the tries you've been getting lately.

I agree with most of this, but in my opinion, last years squad was bottom 4 no matter who was coach. If you don't have the cattle you don't have the cattle. As a Parra fan, I was hoping to see some improvement but the guys looked poorly coached and had no idea in defence.

I've defended RS record before, more out of optimism than anything else, but it's clear to me now he has nothing. That presser was embarrassing and it looked like he was literally about to cry. I honestly believe he will quit his job well before his contract is up.

BTW if my coach called me fragile I'd be pissed.

I would just like to see the NRL bring in a rule that says no one is allowed to reflect publicly on the refs EVER.

These complaints to the newspapers wont change results and it wont change the way refs approach their next game, but this focus on reffing decision is self-perpetuating.

Bring in a strick rule that says they cant publicly reflect on any decisions (whether it was good or bad for them) and they can only take about their own or the other teams performance. Then bring in a formal review/complaint system that is away from the public until the process is finished.

I respectfully disagree.

While I lay 90% of the blame for the spoon in 2013 at Stuart's feet, the 2013 squad still had plodders like Reni Maitua, Matt Keating, Ben Smith, Brayden Williame, Jake Mullaney and Matt Ryan playing regular First Grade. There was a sprinkling of talent there, but it was a decidedly average squad.

Enter 2014 and, thanks to Ricky, we have a quality hooker, a 5/8 who is solidly going about his job and (thanks to Kearney), a world class talent in Hopoate out wide.

Stuart is a shit coach and he drilled the spoon into us, but our 2013 squad was dreadful. Jake f**king Mullaney, FFS!
