LOL if there was one thing I remember reading on this forum, it was that post. saw it when he first posted that and remember it to this day. Funnily enough he wasn't a bad BHP, if you talked with him in a civil manner he was civil back, bash Mythchell and he'd go ape sh1t.

Pearce or bust for NSW
His future is on the line and it is my belief this man has the heart of a lion and the competitive instincts of his father. His issue has been when New South Wales have been on the back foot and in need of a general to take command he has played more like a back rower. I don’t know if he can ever evolve into a world class halfback but if he can’t guide the Blues to victory on Wednesday then his future in the Blues team might be in jersey number 14. Kurt Gidley isn’t a classic play maker but I think Pearce is very similar and even more skilful than Gidley. If Adam Reynolds can evolve into the starting halfback they need, if I was the coach of the Blues I would feel more than confident carrying Pearce in that utility role on the bench.

I love when people put this argument forward. Game one 2013 all the so called "experts" said that NSW dominated QLD in the forwards....and they did and then some.
NSW scored 2 tries, one from Jennings off a broken fiield run, and the other was an inside pass from Lewis to Hayne.

Please tell me what Mitchell did in game one? I will tell you - nothing.

I re watched game one a few days ago on IQ and just watched NSW attacking sets and Mitchell did one thing of note and that was give a nice short ball to Luke Lewis who made a half break...if you could call it that. Apart from that, it was all Maloney. Mitchell's kicking game was standard, nothing special, couldnt even get a repeat set.
