Jack Bird

The fact you need to put that in inverted commas is frustrating. If Jack is 60 percent fit you play him in the finals.

theres a video of the final 15 minutes of the GF on youtube.
in that 15 minutes birdy was dead set crucial to us winning. three good runs in get out sets, strong defence, a slips catch kick...the guy was all over the place doing good shit.

im hoping he can lift again in the big games if he's fit.

Birdy with the ego that he has is far more likely to perform on the biggest stage. We'd be stupid not to use him in our run through the finals even if not quite 100%. Week to week this year he's been faarrkken ordinary but he's not Robinson Crusoe there.

I'm very surprised he didn't get Churchill Medal, considering his effort while injured.

I'm finding the push against the bloke staggering.

Seems there's a bit of an agenda which has created a bandwagon

He's copping it while others who are performing certainly no better and maybe worse are fairing way better in the criticism stakes.

It's all about the profile and standard you set for yourself.

Look at Hayne. Has he been gold coasts worst player? Does he miss all the tackles in the middle? Does he not lay a platform for one of the best halves in the Comp to work off.

If bird is a devisive figure In the sheds and doesn't involve himself, then that's on him.
On the field he has been no where near as good as his previous two seasons, but who in the team has.

I expected more quality from bird this year. As a young bloke, in his third season who should have developed into a leader. He is an origin rep and was anointed as a future star many years ago.
If he has been carrying on like a bitch, he will be found out at Brisbane.

Will be hard being a New South Wales player at the Broncos.

He will have to be extraordinary to win over most broncos fans.

When did Greg play for Brisbane?

Greg Bird was certainly appreciated at the Gold Coast.

Historically, NSW had Brisbane centres Chris Johns and Michael DeVere playing for them and nobody cared. Did we care about Matt Rogers and Craig "the Pineapple" Greenhill playing for Queensland ?

Did anyone care about Dave Grohl sharing his services with Them Crooked Vultures and Queens of the Stone Age. Its just another gig, man.

Titans have a strong nsw feel. Most players coaches officials have been from the good state
Did ya see Hayne s comments re Henry

He got the shits when Henry went to P Kent and told him that he didn't want to sign him for the titans.
Did it twice.

Kent is apparently going to get on TV and try to justify it tonight.

Some guys just watch Jack when he has the ball.

Maybe they should watch him when he defends. Not many opposing centres get over the top of him.
