We can build a great side around two quality halves. Can you imagine the media speculation next year regarding Foran's future?

My understanding is that if Hayne makes this Fiji 7's side for Rio he is ineligible to play for the Wallabies. Seeing that the ARU/Wallabies usually prop up the salaries of all Rugby converts the big money will not be available for Hayne to play for a Rugby side in Australia. That leaves him with playing French/Japanese Rugby which is as much a challenge as Dancing with the Stars, English Super League or playing NRL with the Eels.

I you listen to the 2KY podcast, BA says that Hayne still considers himself and Eel and could not see him playing against his mates.

Sounds like if he wants it, Hayne will be back in the Eels colours next year........if he wants it......

Yes that is correct. That's why Semi is never linked to any of the Super whatever Union sides, he has already play 7's for Fiji, so the ARU won't prop up his contract.

However with the new Eddie the Eagle movie coming out, he may find the next challenge is the Winter Olympics. Goes without saying that he would be known as Hayne the Plane.

For Hayne who has been a league player since a kid, his biggest goal I am guessing is to win an NRL Comp. it's the ultimate dream for pretty much every single league player no matter what level to win a Comp.

The eels in the next few years are entering that premiership window, where we can win a comp. I reckon that could potentially push Hayne back to league.

i think Hayne said he has achieved everything in RL

dunno why

Except a premiership, which is often left out of that quote he mentions.

The NRL needs Hayne more than Hayne needs the NRL, if they price him out of Parramatta they'll lose him altogether. It's better to have Hayne on less at Parra than not have him in the game at all.

Apparently The Plane has been added to the Fiji squad for the weekend.

Looks like Foxtel have juggled their programming and shifted the London 7's from SportsPlus (select red button) to FoxSports 3 and 2 at various times tomorrow.
