I wish him all the best and I hope he destroys all in his path but I have zero interest in this move and won't be watching any games he's in.

They weren't exactly playing the little ol' ladies. They did OK to score 10 points.

how many times did they turn the ball over a few metres from the Crusaders line

at least 4 tries bombed I reckon, they had enough field position to win imo, but yeh the Crusaders are a polished outfit

No surprise the move away from his "American Dream" (tm) has resulted in the media abandoning Hayne like yesterday's news.

It's clear that Hayne/Beavis are more interested in pimping Hayne to the media just to maintain his "brand", and they're not going to give him a second free run.

Jarryd's the modern day Lara Bingle!

Well yes, they haven't abandoned him... I more meant that they've abandoned the breathless reporting/hype and have turned on him.

Yep. He's gone to rugby union - exactly as I predicted ;-)

Starting with Union 7s, and then the obvious step is for Hayne to court offers for 15 a side next season.

Until he kills it at the Olympics, then they'll be sucking his dick just like before........
The Fiji media? Or ours...
Good on him. Why do you care???
I care because I was responding to a direct question.

From the moment he left the Eels I was telling people on here who thought he would come back after NFL that he would end up in union. So I also care about helping people here understand Hayne's logical business/branding decisions :D.

Australian media only like winners, if he goes well they will get behind him again.

You specifically said he chase French or Japanese rugby. if he goes there after the Olympics then you can gloat all you want.

You didn't predict he would quit the NFL either you suggested he wouldn't make the cut.

Are you saying he's a loser and didn't make it in his NFL dream (tm)?

I did. Olympic 7s rugby is a good platform from which he can command a Euro or Japanese rugby deal. A deal from Europe or Japan would open those territories to Hayne's "brand", his clothing line, and whatever else he and his manager can get off the ground. It would be more lucrative to him than an Australian deal, and leave him more in control of his "image" than being back here in the fishbowl.

You didn't predict he would quit the NFL either you suggested he wouldn't make the cut.
Initially I suggested he wouldn't make the cut. Now I can see he's only quitting because he won't make a go of it (starting team, week in week out) and now there is no more money to be made for his brand from that territory.

Our media are onto him now ;-).
