Would they have even told them yet? I always thought that they wouldn't know until the second round of cuts were made next week.

I personally think if they were going to cut him at all, they would have already, If he was at the point where the staff were still iffy, I think they would have held the spot for someone else, if they weren't convinced by now.

No I think I read somewhere this AM that the 49ers have to announce if Hayne had the 53 man cut by 4pm Friday Sydney time.

They make the final cut on Saturday US time. All the pre season week 4 games are played this Thursday US time, so then they have 2 days to decide who to cut.

We will find out officially on Sunday our time.

Well with making the 75 man cut I guess he ticks off another goalpost.

I'm guessing there are a lot of punters out there hoping he does as well, since his jersey is showing up as 7 out of the first 10 selling on the NFL/49er's website.
