He lost me after his 9/11 comments on the Footy Show.

1st class dickhead.

Imagine if he was a good fighter AND a nice guy. He'd be twice as famous and respected. Prolly would have been Australian of the Year and named living legend.

Instead people roll their eyes at the mention of his name.

What a tosser.

Look, he doesn't articulate his thoughts as well as you or me (well, as well as me) but Mundine's 9/11 comments had some truth to them. Tragedy that 9/11 was, if the USA was not involved in it's corporate imperialism, they would not be a target of extremists, full stop. It's the elephant in the room, I'm afraid, whenever terrorism is discussed.

atleast Hayne can articulate what he's saying far better then what Mundine can.

Do you think he might start a sentence with a capital letter? Oh, and ditch the 'what' between 'then' and 'Mundine'.
(My point, of course, is that it's irrelevant which one can articulate the best.)

What he said was:
"They call it an act of terrorism, but if you can understand religion, and our way of life, it's not about terrorism. It's about fighting for God's law, and America's brought it upon themselves."

Australian values work against these so called Gods laws, just the same as America. Mundine is a first class douche for saying what he said and an enemy of the Australian way of life.

Oh and I love all things Jarryd. Go the plane!

Another example of how America are of course blameless for being a target of terrorism :sarcasm::

Death toll rises in suspected US airstrike on Afghan hospital

Nine staff dead and up to 37 injured in Médecins Sans Frontières hospital as charity says bombing continued for 30 minutes after it raised alarm

A US airstrike appears to have hit a hospital run by Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) in the Afghan city of Kunduz, killing nine staff members and injuring up to 37 people.

MSF said its hospital in the northern city was bombed and badly damaged in an aerial attack early on Saturday morning.

The charity claimed it had circulated the coordinates of the site to all sides engaged in fighting in the country, adding that the bombing continued for 30 minutes after it had raised the alarm with Afghan and US authorities.
A spokesman for the US military admitted it might be responsible.

whats the rules about being taken out by your teammate when calling a fair catch?

The rule is that they were very lucky they recovered the ball. I feel for Hayne because they deliberately kicked away from him and then he has had to take 2 fair catches, one of which his own player took him out.

the other one the merkin from the other team trod on his foot .... the refs are very pedantic in nfl, I would have thought they'd have picked that up

Yeah they missed a face mask earlier too. Yeah are right though they usually call stuff like that over cautiously.

Will Hayne even last 3 years now? Seriously playing 2min each week. FFS what kind of 'sport' is this?

It's like a human version of chess. Short plays that only last seconds, heaps of time in between moves and a lot of people claiming to like it but are probably just drunk and American.
