How is Hayne meant to improve, if he isn't even playing.
Like every other aspiring player who isn't quite ready. In the practice squad.

Cooper and crabtree go alright as well
Gabbert is a gun.
Well, that was unexpected.
Gabbert looks like an actual quarterback. Even made our o-line look decent at times.
Well, I guess they'll know that he'll stay in the pocket and play a 'normal' QB game. Not sure how much it'll help. He is only 26 though (despite being in the NFL since 2011), and started his career in a genuinely crap team, so maybe he's better than his career record suggests.
Might have been unexpected to some but not to us true NBL fans. ;-)
Thomas got released Tuesday as the 49ers opted to sign one of his former New Orleans Saints teammates, Travaris Cadet, who’s listed as a running back but has primarily served as a passing-game specialist and kickoff returner.
But don’t feel too sorry for Thomas, he made some sweet coin in his short stay. Matt Maiocco from CSN Bay Area estimated that the 49ers played US$51,176 for one week, which equates to US$4265 per yard after the game against Atalanta.
I have a feeling that it probably doesn't look that different to the figurines for other players.
The black players are all white figurines too? That would get a few merkins riled up
