Just like they were at the start of year predicting we’d be a top 4 side. You can’t have it both ways.It means they're fooled by recency bias, just like the fans.
Aren’t we paying Norman a shitload
Fact is Norman’s been paid top dollar, and he’s failed
We are a middle of the range team and plenty of people (including Pou) have consistently argued that.Just like they were at the start of year predicting we’d be a top 4 side. You can’t have it both ways.
Great result if trueTwitter:
@wwos Jarrryd Hayne to sign a 2 year deal with @TheParraEels on 02/11/2018 after the release of Bevan French to the Bulldogs due to the release of David Klemmer.
Well you predicted us to come 3rd which doesn’t suggest you thought we were a middle of the range team. I’m interested to see what your next year’s prediction has us finishing. We are a middle of the range team and plenty of people (including Pou) have consistently argued that.
It’s others that flip and flop between describing us as premiership contenders one year and the worst squad the following year. The bookies take notice of those idiots because they are in the business of making money.
Where will we finish after the 26 rounds? 3rd.
Where will we finish overall? Knocked out in the preliminary final by the Cowboys.
Best Parra player for the year? Nathan Brown.
Biggest disappointment? ANZ Stadium.
First rookie if any, to make NRL debut? Don't follow the loser grades. Ask @Forty20.
Who will be the surprise packet? Henry Foreskin.
Who will have a breakout year? Barry Breakington.
Best retention we announce before the end of the season? Rupert Retentio Jr.
Biggest name we let go at the end of the season? Gerald Hayne
Biggest signing we make during the season? Tziporah Malkah's norks after a gusty come from behind draw against the Roosters in a sellout match attending by 7,214 sad f**ks.
Hayne also underperformed. A couple of highlights don’t mean he was at his best all year.
Did I say that I thought we were a middle of the range team? I didn’t did I? The smart ones do and I’m not one of the smart ones.Well you predicted us to come 3rd which doesn’t suggest you thought we were a middle of the range team. I’m interested to see what your next year’s prediction has us finishing.
It means a team doesn’t gain or lose ability in a single season. Just form.Just like they were at the start of year predicting we’d be a top 4 side. You can’t have it both ways.
Because signing him at the price and tenure that he demands weakens the squad and our overall salary cap position for several years.Ok then. He was our best and was still underperforming. Why the f**k would you not re-sign someone that good.
Which is why they’d be on bigger money.Thurston and Cronk are far superior to Norman, without the baggage/drama/porn credentials/gangster lifestyle that Norman threw at us while here.
Which is why they’d be on bigger money.
JT or Cronk would be a better purchase than Norman?Which is why they’d be a better purchase
That’s not why they’d be a better purchase. That’s why they’d be on more.Which is why they’d be a better purchase
Because they want more money than they’re worth.Ok then. He was our best and was still underperforming. Why the f**k would you not re-sign someone that good.
Not for the massive holes they’d leave in the rest of the squad.Which is why they’d be a better purchase
That’s not why they’d be a better purchase. That’s why they’d be on more.
Something isn’t immediately a better purchase just because it costs more. To be a better purchase the value to cost ratio needs to be higher.
How much do you realistically think Parra would have to pay to sign Cronk or Thurston for one year? To determine it is a better purchase you must have chosen an arbitrary amount. What did you settle on? $1.5M? $2M?
The only thing he got right in those predictions was about Henry Foreskin.Well you predicted us to come 3rd which doesn’t suggest you thought we were a middle of the range team. I’m interested to see what your next year’s prediction has us finishing.
